Who wins in a best of 7 series? Two of the greatest defensive teams in the last 20 years.

Probably the Celtics, more offensive firepower.

'04 Pistons.

They were flat out dominant once they made the Sheed trade.

They shut down Kidd, J.O, Artest & Kobe in the POs for the most part. I'll take Larry Brown as a coach over Doc Rivers as well. Pistons have the better wing defenders and can take Pierce out of the series. Rondo wasn't Rondo quite yet either. KG vs. Sheed would be a really fun match-up too.

The 2008 Pistons, minus prime Ben Wallace took those championship Celtics to 6 games in the eastern conference finals, so I'm going with the 2004 Pistons with prime Big Ben, who was the MVP of those Pistons (and should've been the Finals MVP in 2004), beating the 2008 Celtics.

I have to agree. The 2008 Lakers in my opinion were also better than the 2004 Lakers and 2004 Pistons.
