I will mostly ignore that in favor of asking two unrelated questions.
I’m fairly certain Blake would not make the Hall of Fame if it were up to you but do you think he will make the Hall of Fame in reality? I’ve had to begrudgingly give him respect for his transition into a hard-working role player.
And Davis….
Is anyone from his era both worse than him more well-known? Kendrick Perkins? Would you say perk was better than Davis?

The basketball HOF has the lowest standards for who they vote in, so I wouldn't even be surprised if Blake made it someday. And while I wouldn't vote him in, if you look at someone like Mitch Richmond's resume and compared it to Blake's, they'd legitimately be indistinguishable.
And I always thought Brian Scalabrine was the most well known scrub player from that era.

Absolutely not. He should not make the hall of fame.
Very little impact on the game of basketball, never accomplished anything even for his own team... except jumping over a Kia.

Perk was better than Baby. Offensive players are generally valued over their defensive equivalent which is why Perk would be viewed as an inferior player to JJ Redick. But in reality he's a very valuable player pre-injury. He protected the basket at a high level and was the enforcer, Baby maybe could have averaged 15 at his peak as a starter but he was nothing special on that end overall.

Perk was useful during the last gasps of having to stop people one on one in the post but I’d imagine in 2022 many teams would bench him and use Glen as a straight stretch 5.

Judging them by how they would be used today doesn't have anything to do with how their careers actually went. If they came up in the current era I do believe that Pwrk would be more likely to do what he had to do to play as a modern big. Perk when he played was in good shape, he had a strong work ethic and dropped something like 60 pounds of fat between his rookie and third seasons. Baby came in fat and stayed fat. Perkins would be more likely to develop the ability to switch. Added that to his short blocking and position d and he would be playable. Baby came in fat and stayed fat.

Well yea he’d be playable. I’ve always hated the notion that guys are unplayable. Especially as they continue to be played by the people who decide such things. But those people I’d say would be less likely to do it often for Perk now that at any time before. Which isn’t to say modern usefulness is how to determine ability to play. Game is a lot older than the three point revolution.

HELLLL no.
If I recall correctly, OKC Perkins was by the metrics one of the worst players to ever get NBA minutes, and the eye test clearly pointed to the same conclusion with his legendary frequency on Shaqtin A Fool. :lol. And it's not like he was past his physical prime, OKC would have done their injury homework and obviously found he was not hampered, he was just no longer in a situation tailor made for being hidden in a starting lineup. That Celtics team was top heavy AND deep, and all they needed him to do was guard the occasional oaf and not take up much cap room doing it. Otherwise he was a horrific basketball player.
Baby at least had some skill, even if he lacked the maturity to be a dependable guy.
