Guards\Wings are just more valuable. They reach an offensive peak\ceiling that bigs simply can not reach.

They also can ignore bigs posting up whenever they want hahahah so the guard\wing always have control in this era. Nobody catches it in the low post anymore unless it's a freethrow dirk type post up, people have learned that's just not the most efficient way to play.

I think that has a lot to do with why percentages were down in the 2000s. People think it's just wayyy better defense but in reality it's just shaq\duncan type guys posting up and thus creating easier offense to defend.

Guards\Wings > Bigs

especially wings, i personally have a hard on for two way wings because they bring much better offense then bigs while also still having elite defense (tatum or kawhi). The guard can be valuable if he's built like Luka. But it's hard being a little 6 foot guy even if you're extremely talented like ringless paul\nash
