The more Butler dominates, the better LeBron's age 35/9 month NOT-4.0 rebound/2.3 assist averaging chip/Finals MVP in 2020 looks. :oldlol: And the remaining 3 chips LeBron won were all against better opponents than jordon ever beat in a 7 game series.

the problem is we keep on viewing what's going on as a cash game. only it's been set as tournament style, which means at some point, all partied involved must go all in.

haters just fuming because every extra game they buy, they still place outside making an earning.

Butler lost his 2 best teammates & took Bran & AD To 6 games & outplayed them. A healthy 2020 Heat team could have won the title. Then you look at 2015 and Gasol got injured in that series and Butler was clamping down Bran in most of those games, again it could have been a different outcome. I don't get how this makes Lebron look any better.

How do you not make a play-in tournament in this day and age? The league gift wraps a scenario for teams to be at least a 10th seed with a chance to get in the playoffs and you finish 11th? The Spurs couldn’t even screw that up.

Adebayo played 4 games that series. The Heat lost 3 of them.
Dragic played 2 games. The Heat lost both.

Anything you can say about them playing but not being 100% etc. I can say about Rondo who missed the first round against the Blazers not being 100%, and even more "swept under the rug by jordon extremist alts" injury of Anthony Day-to-Davis, who got injured in game 5, with being doubtful for game 6:

https://images4.imagebam.com/68/b7/d3/MEAKX14_o.png

LeBron still closed out the series.

LMAO @ Butler "ouplaying LeBron while losing". You must be mixing that with LeBron outplaying Kevin Durant yet still losing to the cowardly stacked Warriors in both the 2017 and 2018 finals. And LMAO @ this being "clamped down":

29.8 ppg on .591 fg% & .417 3pt%
11.8 rpg
8.5 apg

Also  @ the friggin AUDACITY to bring up that 2015 Cavs-Bulls series. LeBron had to face that series with:

No Kevin Love (as in actually NOT playing , unlike Adebayo and Dragic in 2020, as well as Gasol for most of the series in 2015)
J.R. Smith being suspended for the first 2 games of the series
Kyrie playing like absolute shyt (17.5 ppg on .425, 2.2 rpg & 2.7 apg)

LeBron still single-handedly beat those Bulls while burying a buzzer beating game winner over Butler:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lswi2Y7L58M

Furthermore, that was like one in a million playoffs where Derrick Rose was healthy and playing. Wha happun? :confusedshrug:

LeBron has owned Jimmy for an entire decade, an ownage that was spread over both players playing for multiple franchises, and 3 playoff/finals series wins for LeBron. One when he played with the Heat, one when he played with the Cavs, and one when he played with the Lakers. And let's not forget this absolute DESTRUCTION on both ends, when Jimmy played for the Timberwolves:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ou5kQXNTZ9U

There isn't an example in NBA history where one player owns another as much as LeBron has owned Jimmy. Although Bird's ownage of jordon has a case.

MJ and Lebron don't even cross my mind when I think of Jimmy Butler. Its pathetic to think that what he is doing is tied to MJ and Lebron's legacies, and not to his own, but pathetic is what stains do. Especially Lebron stains since they are in frenzy to prove their boy is higher on the ATG list than everyone except them thinks.

The takeaway from Jimmy Butler's season and playoffs is that once again he is the most underrated player in the world. Now all of us who were right all these years and kept seeing people putting him down and denying his talent cant help but feeling vindicate. Jimmy is Top 5 in the league. Deal with it

First of all, Butler doesn’t even play like Jordan, so that’s just a bad comparison right off the bat.

Secondly, why does literally every single player need to be involved in the LeBron/Jordan discussion? It’s the conference finals and virtually all the threads on the forum still revolve around these two.

“Game 6,” said Penberthy. “We sat down. We had a game plan set in place. We sat down to do our usual. We turned on the video. We walked through Miami.

“LeBron says, ‘Coach, I want to guard Jimmy. I want to match his minutes. I feel like I need to match up with him the whole game. I don’t want anybody else to guard him. I want to guard Jimmy Butler.’

“That’s leadership in a nutshell right there. You just basically said, ‘I’m going to be the best player in the game and I’m gonna guard the other team’s best player and that’s what we’re going to do.’

“So, that tells you a little bit about him. He was going in that morning to say, ‘I got Jimmy Butler and I’m going to play 48 minutes if I have to.’

“We didn’t have to play 48 (laughs). The game was over in 24, but that tells you a lot right there.

What 3pt percentage did Jordan shoot for his playoff career?
37% in the finals where it matters most. He would also get a lot more rebounds since he won’t have to contend with true bigs anymore(smallball) and the volume of 3’s teams shoot create more opportunities for long rebounds. Also, anyone who’s played basketball knows kicking it out is the easy part of a drive and kick, so there’s no doubt shooters around the goat slasher would thrive.
