That's what good defense does.

Spo doesn’t run plays for him

is Bam good enough to be run plays through and relied upon to average 20 on 2's only?

We didn't have Horford in the bubble

Yes, but Spo is obsessed with spacing so it won’t happen. Bam needs to learn how to shoot 3s to get more touches.

Several contributing factors:

Players who rely on being assisted for easy buckets, both in the fast break, and in half court settings, often have lower PPG output in the post season. This is due to opposing defenses sometimes taking plays off, or being lackadaisical during the regular season, and not being as strict about getting back on defense.

But it also has to do with teams in the playoffs being the best teams in the league, the deeper you go. And those better teams, generally have better defenses.

And these top teams also generally take care of the ball better/commit less turnovers that would otherwise lead to easy fast break points, and the best teams generally don’t have any players in their rotations who are stupid and easy to take advantage of.

Playoffs are much more about a slower down, smart, half court execution game.
Hence why Bam has a harder time being effective offensively during the playoffs.

he can still iso against either Williams. Tucker can box out Horford.

essentially, the Heat plays with no roll player while ensuring they don't give up any alley oops
