Dirk - The Mav's were actually deeper talent wise than the Heat and had the same amount of top 75 players (2)
Giannis - sometimes players who are good enough can slip a title in during transitions between dynasty's
Kawhi - Once again I think his first team had more Hall of Famers than Lebron and his second team got lucky with Durant and Thompson injuries

Does anyone know.

Also Kawhi in 2019 and 2014.

It's because his big man ball-dominant skillset yields poor teammate fits, chemistry, and offensive strategy (poor brand of ball), which requires superior talent (super-team).

Lebron never learned how to win (brand of ball.. organic) and is a talent-based winner (team-hopping.. all-star team strategy)

Dirk 2011 - 2nd leading scorer in playoffs (Terry): 17.5 ppg, Tyson Chandler: all-defensive 2nd team
Kawhi 2019 - 2nd leading scorer in playoffs (Siakam): 19.0 ppg, Kyle Lowry: all-star
Giannis 2021 - 2nd leading scorer in playoffs (Middleton): 23.6 ppg, Jrue Holiday: all-defensive 1st team

LeBron 2013 - 2nd leading scorer in playoffs (Wade): 15.9 ppg
LeBron 2016 - 0 all-stars, 0 all-NBA/all-defensive teammates

1-star teams were sufficient to win the East and the Heat were a super-team (overkill) - but Wade was needed against the West in the 13' Finals where he was a near-equal scoring partner to Lebron (20 vs 25) and outscored the opposing #1 option

So Lebron has never defeated maximum defensive attention (never carried scoring load in Finals) and he also never beat a top 5 SRS team with bed-wetting sidekicks (no carry-jobs against good teams in 2 decades of playing)

Frame of reference issue. Lebron either had “super teams” or completely mediocre ones.

He’s never played with just a really good squad like those 3 guys you mentioned did in their title years.

You could argue 2018 and 2013 were but meh.

In all seriousness though, you could 100% argue that Middleton & Jrue are as good as 2013 Wade/Bosh or Kyrie/Love. I’m taking Jrue over Love and not even thinking twice about it, and if he’s not with LeBron there are legitimate questions about how effective Kyrie can be at this point.

And while AD was a monster in 2020, the Raptors had some insane depth, having like 5-6 different guys drop 20 points in the Finals, so another example where you could definitely argue Kawhi’s supporting cast in Toronto was as good as LeBron’s in LA, depending on how you feel about having one superstar teammate vs having great depth.

And say what you will about the 2011 Mavs, but they won with Dirk having some truly mediocre-terrible games in the Finals, and depending on how much credit you want to give them, held Kobe & LeBron to two of their worst series of their careers.

I really like Middleton and jrue but its a total insult to compare wade and bosh to them. LeBron lost with prime versions of wade and bosh as well. Giannis would never lose with that.
