Since they faced each other a total of 42 times in NBA games. Stephen Curry has a 24-18 winning record over LeBron James, including a 15-7 record in Playoffs.

No. Because Lebron have more finals MVP, and regular season MVP than Kobe and Curry combined.

Good questions, let's do the math

MVPs

LBJ: 8
Curry: 2 (maybe FMVP so 3)
Kobe: 3

4x as many like LBJ over Curry (8 vs 2)? MJ has 32 MVPs?

Stop it man, they're not close even if that happens. Steph would need quite a bit more. If he wins another ring and FMVP, I would put him in the 7-10 category but would need long & hard to see where. Bron is easy top 3.

Agreed. If Curry wins a ring and FMVP this season he's top 10 without question. He has legit arguments over Kobe and Hakeem. Heck, you could stretch it and he'd have an argument over Bird as well.

1. MJ
2. LBJ
3. Kareem
4. Shaq
5. Russell
6. Magic
7. Duncan
8/9/10. Bird/Hakeem/Kobe

On the cusp, it's Ilt, Curry, and KD.

Man, just 6 years ago people were laughing at the fact that Curry and KD were being ranked over Wade as players. It hurts me to my core to say this, but now they're definitely above him.

SO to plowking who called this shit in '15 (about Curry).

Only if Wade doesn't **** up his knees. Man! So many what if's with Wade. We win the title for sure in '05, if he doesn't injure his shoulder. Another on in '11 if LeBron doesn't choke. Many more, if Wade could've stayed healthy. :facepalm

Wilt is universally ranked as a top 7 player of all time by everyone knowledgeable about basketball.

As Wilt is the greatest individual player ever.

While also being the leader of two of the top 5 teams in NBA history in the 1967 76ers and 1972 Lakers.

Plus Wilt definitely stepped it up in the big games and is undoubtedly up there with Jordan & LeBron when facing elimination:

36.8/26.6/2 on the Warriors, 30/31.5/3 on the 76ers, and 26.4/22.6/5 as the aging and the low-volume defensive anchor on the Lakers.

When did Magic turn a team around without a superstar? When did LeBron for that matter?

Steph wins this year he'd have done it twice.

This is dumb, I like Steph, but it's obvious his team has been better than any team they have faced so far in the playoffs. In 2015 they didn't beat anyone worth noting as well. This isn't a carry job by any means.

When has a team gone from last to a championship in two years? Curry's team looks great because he shepherded it to its current state. Which star would have traded places with Steph two years ago? Who would have done better in his place? Why didn't they do so with the situation they had instead?

In 2015 they faced and beat all the highest seeds they were scheduled to meet.

Before this round started there were people taking the Mavericks. There are still people even now claiming Doncic is a better player.

People can keep claiming it's all luck but the truth of the matter is that Curry is the greatest player of the last 7 years.

Are you serious? Some context would be welcomed with this statement.

- Draymond missed half the season
- Wiggins only played 12 games (traded for mid-season)
- Klay out for the year
- Jordan Poole was a 20 year old rookie

Oh be quiet......the team came last because they were missing key pieces and tanked.
Steph also needs a lot of help.

They still have the same real core....Curry, Klay and Dray..as well as the new role players to help them.

Don't act like the team lost its key players, went last and came back with a new core....its deceiving and annoying ....bron stan shit

KD wasn't a key player? Iguodala? Livingston even? The Warriors basically traded everyone in except Curry, Draymond, Klay, and Looney and Klay had two serious career threatening injuries from which he still doesn't look fully back.

It's all semantics. Facts are - Magic have 5 rings and 3 MVPs. Lebron have 4 rings and 4 MVPs. And lots of finals too.
Steph can't beat that with 3 and 2.
Everybody got a ton of good players on their teams, nobody doing things like that without great support. I'm more impressed with what Steph done too, but we have to stay objective. If Steph gets 4 and 2, he gets into the conversation.

Bron is actually still at a negative ring count, Steph passed him years ago.

2012- Asterisk ring, lock out season vs 22 and 23 year old low iq chokers.
2013- Asterisk ring Bron brick, Bosh board, Ray allen bang bailout
2016- Asterisk ring, Adam Silver tampering
2020- Asterisk ring, exhibition bubble games
2011- a negative ring, biggest choke of all time in any sport

So LeBron is actually sitting at -1 rings right now and he isn’t getting any younger. His legacy isn’t looking great at this point. He might be able to collude for a 4th time but we will see.
