IF YOUR THE LAKERS FRONT OFFICE: ANY REASON "not" TO TRADE A.DAVIS?

He's played 75 games total the last 2 years. When he did play last year with James and Westbrook the Lakers were 12-11. At least Westbrook shows up. Any reason now to trade Anthony Davis?

Not saying it would work contractly, but I'd trade Anthony davis for Ayton alone, or Collins and another player. I purposed a trade on the forum last year when Davis's stock was higher that they should have traded him for Turner and Sabonis from the Pacers, when their were talks of them being traded.

I've personally never liked AD'S game. He shoots a shitload of long 2's, most of which never goes in, he doesn't get enough and 1's, but he does give solid interior defense. Doesn't score enough points around the basket.

If you look at the last game of the season Davis played, he was STILL HURT, so even if the Lakers made the playoffs, he wouldn't have returned

I think you can build around him with mid-level stars (Ayton, Lavine, Robinson, Lowry)...move him to PF so he's not getting hit as much. Of the three he's the one you keep Russ is the hardest to move.

That was 3 years ago, when you play 75 games in 2 years, we don't know if your in your prime or not.

Of you trade David you will not get equal value back because of his injury history. So if instead of getting an elite player you deal him for Bam Adebayo you will see James and Adebayo maje the first or second round. If you keep Davis he could have another hurt year in which case LA misses Playoff again but if he stays healthy snd they bring in some 3 and D types they have a small chance at winning the whole west. The floor is lower but with Davis the ceiling is also higher.
