“I need to fall on the sword because I’m the lone person that voted Kyrie Irving third-team All-NBA,” Rose said. “I get mesmerized by his talent, but it was a mistake to put him on third-team.”

What is all these idiots infatuation with Kyrie Irving?

Cavs made finals in 2018 without him.
Boston made game 7 ecf in 2018 without him.
Did poorly in 2019 and got reverse swept.
Was butt hurt at home in 2020 and tried to sabotage the bubble and Nets made playoffs without him.
Was hurt in 2021.
Did nothing in 2022.


The kid is a certified bum that only played well when he played with the GOAT.

This is why media awards should not be taken that seriously. There's no way Lebron should have been All-NBA this season as his numbers had next to no impact. It's a joke that he's All-NBA while Jimmy Butler got left off.

The All NBA awards are not meaningless, it decides what player are eligible for supermax money.
Clowns like Jalen almost cost Trae Young 36 million.

Trae can take that up with the union for negotiating media popularity achievements into the salary process.

These selections dont mean anything or say anything about the game itself, no matter how “seriously” anyone takes them.

Lebron is better than Kobe. Deal with it. When Kobe was the same age as LeBron. I think he only averaged 17 ppg.

next cba get rid of the all-nba qualifier, it's stupid. Only time all-nba should affect salary is in non max contracts with incentives.

This suggestion might be very flawed but you can give a rookie 25%, <10 year veteran 30%, older guy 35% supermax. Then you have 2 exceptions per team for the rookie or <10 year veteran where you can give the 30% and supermax to each respectively. Think that's fine because the most max guys you can have on 1 team is 3.
