Jokic will space Howard, but even old Howard has had some luck getting physical with Jokic and slowing down his inside game. Peak LeBron tips this for me in 2011-12's favor. Who is CP3 going to guard? 2022 would have to target him.

Closer than to be expected but the 2012 would have way better synergy. Have Dwight control the paint and not really about anything offensively. CP3 handles the ball and plays scrappy defensive on the perimeter while also not worrying about scoring. Kobe and KD bail out with shot-making. Lebron does everything in between all of that. 2012 would never lose a 50/50 ball unless Giannis was in the picture. Even then I think Bron or Dwight have as good of a chance to come down with it.

2022 would score though.

I think this is actually closer than people might think but the biggest factor would be experience. 2012 has 4 guys who have been to the finals and 2 guys who won multiple chips. 2022 just isn't there yet, though I think they will in the future (maybe not Booker). Tatum has already showed he can take Durant, Jokic would destroy even prime Dwight (who alrdy struggled against skilled bigs), Giannis would and has given Bron fits though they probably cancel each other out, Doncic is a great one on one player like Kobe (but not as good as Kobe). Prime CP destroys booker overall even though the matchup doesn't really work

yea this isnt too much of a competition and I hate to say it's mainly because of booker vs kobe matchup. Booker's just not one of the 2 best guards. Ik he missed 1/3 of the season and had a down year but I still would've picked curry for 1st team. If team 2022 had him, this matchup gets very interesting.

In 2012 roles are defined pretty well. So many questions with 2022. Luka is great at carrying role players but wouldnt be great in a game like this. They would go at him and Booker. Booker is the worst player out of this 10 guys. And most importantly who is the playmaker of the 2022 team. They can go Giannis+4shooters or Doncic&Giannis pnr maybe? Their skills don't add up that well. Jokic is a good shooter but he is not B.Looez. His game is around the rim. Nowadays squad optimization is much better for star players so they can look better than their predecessors. Also if the game is close 2012 is going to win.

Depends on what era and setting they're playing in. If it's a game in this era during the regular season it's a toss up. If it's during the early 2010's era late in the post season this era's first team wouldn't stand a chance
