View Full Version : 3ball we need you on this board
never stop posting bro. I'll give you a fake shout-out once in a while like this thread whenever I can.
my guy 3ball used to argue with me years ago, arguing TOOTH AND NAIL that scottie pippen is untalented and that mo williams is a more talented player.
he literally argued with me that lebron's poor style of fit compromised mo william's game and reduced the talent of the 2009 cavaliers. argued that jordan would have carried that team to a ring. I dont know where these threads went.
he single handedly proved to me that lebron is a GOAT, top-2 at worst.
jordan had the best career of all-time and it will never be touched. it's too disney and fairy-tale, will be very hard to beat for the next 50 years. he's not a better player than shaq or lebron though.
what makes me laugh is the EXTREME DEJA VU of 3ball using and rehashing these same arguments today.
my guy is on the same arguments with luka and because he cant use those arguments against curry he says curry has the "optimal style of play" but gets carried by talent
WOW. just wow.
thanks for forcing me to do my research 3ball. I still mostly post about what I like ie the raptors lebron wade other players that I rooted for over the years, but because of you I had the chance to catch many other games including jordan's finals and I wont lie to you. you didn't convince anyone. you only did the opposite.

100% agreed. I've been saying the same thing that he has been literally boosting LeBron's legacy with every poorly constructed, agenda driven thread.
He has diminished MJ even more by putting a microscope on his achievements. Now people know MJ had the weakest Finals comp ever. Now people now MJ won zero without Pippen. Now people know MJ had the worst 3 point contest in NBA history. Now people know LBJ has more points, game winners, steals, VORP, WS, etc than MJ.
Top 2 GOAT at worst. And nothing will change that.
Thank you 3ball.
look at who mj played in the finals. we knock lebron's competition but he beat better players and he easily has a better scalp collection from rivals than anything mj put together.
try again my guy.

Been saying for a while that 3ball has done more to damage MJ's reputation( at least around here, for whatever that's worth) than enhance it. As if he were actually a MJ hater and he does what he does to generate heat. I'd sooner believe that than the idea that he's actually an MJ fan.

he's the biggest hypocrite ever because he knocks lebron for losing in the finals meanwhile MJ never beat the GOAT pistons and celtics that used to shit on him when was a youngin
that's like a lebron fan saying MJ is shit because he always used to get shit on when he was young playing against better teams - except that's exactly what 3ball does :oldlol:
that's why mj's record prior to phil and scottie is a fair accusation.

He drives revenue and never makes the arguments personal.
He is one of my alt accounts making money for the site.
I unban him all the time.
honest to god 3ball made jordan's career look like shit
jordan's career is dogshit if we use the standards that we use against lebron's career.
jordan beat malone and stockton's jazz twice - that's the best team that he ever beat

I actually think some of our discussions about ball-dominance, assisted rate, off-ball, team assists and brand of ball have slowly seeped out into the mainstream. You rarely if ever heard these terms used in the mainstream 5 years ago but they're commonplace now - but who else was consistently talking about this stuff 5 years ago except us?.. So we put it out there . It went from this tiny forum and eventually seeped out into the mainstream... Seriously, I find myself NOT HATING the coverage anymore because they talk about ball movement and ball-dominance a lot now

so what? I'm not doing shit and I'm smoking up it's a saturday - I practice delayed gratification on weekdays and immediate gratification on weekends
knocked this boy 3ball and his baldan hater army out cold - 10/10 like lebron's eastern conference record minus superteams like the kd warriors and 07/14 spurs

He also once said that journeyman bum Tristan Kardashian was a better player than 4 x all-defensive selection and all-star Horace Grant. :oldlol:
my bad 9/9 like lebron's eastern conference finals record
his western conference finals record is 1/1

LeBron literally has a losing record against almost every great player he's faced in the playoffs.
5-11 vs Tim Duncan
7-15 vs Stephen Curry
5-9 vs Kevin Durant
5-7 vs Kawhi Leonard
2-4 vs Dirk Nowitzki
2-4 vs Dwight Howard
Etc.
You don't get an extra cookie for losing way more than you win. MJ shut a whole decade down and had winning playoff records against almost all of his superstar contemporaries. They're like opposites of each other.

dude you're literally making my case for GOAT for me. lebron scalped all of these players except dirk and dwight, who's bum ass he carried to his only ring (that his bum ass will ever get)
only reason he didnt scalp dirk is because dirk played in the west and dirk caught him at the right moment when he was choking his ass off learning that he can never be a second option and win a ring - either you go GOAT mode or you dont win shit
that lesson earned him 4 rings :oldlol:

The only "great players" jordon has a winning record against are the same "great players" who weren't capable of beating Hakeem + a 13.8 ppg on .376 sidekick in the playoffs. :oldlol:
