The process? Continues?

It wouldn't be shocking since he is injury prone.

True but these last few years he’s been pretty healthy and they still haven’t put decent enough pieces around him. Getting Harden was like putting a bandaid on a freshly amputated leg. Wasn’t going to cut it. Philly is squandering this guys prime

Ironic that Adam Silver was angry the team was losing too much ,so he fired the GM and brought in someone who would make sure they would stay losing forever.

Not really crazy. The league has gone away from traditional bigs. He is a good offensive player that still has flaws in his game and a great defender but in todays game you just need a good defensive center. If you can get a center that can also shoot from three, even better. The time a back to the basket center takes throughout the game to get his points is better served by feeding 3 point shooting wings, again, in todays league. Nobody runs an offense through a center anymore, except Denver and Jokic is more of a point center.

They had their chance when they had Tobias/Simmons/Embiid/Butler. Then they re-signed Harris and hired Doc and LMAO.

That was it. But the luckiest shot in NBA history that required a massive travel and massive carry of the ball to get open killed it.

All downhill from there.

0% chance the 76ers don't **** it up even further than they already have.

Yeah but he’s good enough that having him at center should be a huge advantage even if you DONT run everything thru him in the post. He can defend and shoot 3s with any other center anyway, so the fact he’s elite all around is a big bonus.

Harden and Simmons is what killed them. They should have flipped either of those guys for more stable and consistent talent, and theyd have been better off.

NBA GM’s still havent learned that guys with losing attitudes lose. It seems like the most basic, common sense idea you could ever have. Dont ask a loser to lead the way.

Yet teams do this ALL the time.

Decent enough pieces? The Sixers have been practically stacked now for years, talent is not the reason they're losing. Can you imagine Jokic with Butler, Harris, Simmons (or without), and Redick? How about Jokic with Horford, Harris, Simmons, and Josh Richardson?

How about Jokic with Harden, Harris, Maxey, Green?

True but these last few years he’s been pretty healthy

2022 broken orbital bone...broken shooting hand thumb (spotted heat 2 games and took 6 to beat him)
2021 playing with a torn meniscus (took 7 games to beat him)
2020 healthy dominated the celtics and averaged 30/14 (ben simmons broken foot didnt play)
2019 Sick as a dog. This is the same guy who had no symptoms with covid...and he was put on an iv for his stomach bug...massive migraine headachs, zero sleep, non stop chills, i could keep naming the symptoms but u get it... (took 7 games to beat him and a no call travel game winner)
2018 imma be honest. it was too long ago i dont remember if he was healthy...lets just say he was....wow he actually loss a series completely healthy....wow

edit

o wait just remembered....embiid had a broken eye socket in 2018 playoffs too...so he has never been healthy in the playoffs in his life cept the one year he dominated the celtics for 30/14 but ben missed the entire playoffs....and alec burks was his 2nd best player

btw he had a bad severe ankle sprain that year in the bubble but compared to his other debilitating injuries ill actually call that healthy

Every player has injuries in the playoffs. I’m pretty sure his flopping has contributed to his ailments

Embeta is a flopping piece of shit who cares if he never wins anything..

Philly squandered all their assets after years of tanking, unlucky losers. Enjoy washed up hardon and max $ Harris
