I'll slap you back in the 1990's. Anyway just watched the 1996 and 1998 NBA Finals. It was a very long scoring series. And the half court game back in the 1990's bored me.

You’re never going to like something as much as the thing you grew up with. People from the 70s and 80s were probably bored to tears by the 95-05 decade.

There’s a lot of good things that happen now, some of them little nuances. Appreciate it for what it is. Things evolve.

well it's not changing anytime soon. One team took under 30 3's a game this year, the Bulls. It's almost mandatory for a good offense team to have 4+ floor spacers on the court now. The top 4 teams this year were all in the top half of 3's attempted during the playoffs and only miami took under 35 a game.
