View Full Version : Why game 2 is not necessarily a Must win for Warriors

The most important thing is health. Let's say they lose by a bucket or two. That would feel psychologically devastating, but are you saying they're gonna get swept? All they need is to win either game 3 or game 4 in Boston and then they have game 5 in Golden State. If they win that, then all that's needed is to win game 6 to force a game 7.
So it's tight, but all they need is to have 2 wins to make it to game 6. Boston could still win in 7, but it's a close race. The point is the Warriors don't necessarily HAVE to win game 2.

There will be a team that loses 3-1 and 3-0. It will happen eventually. I assume Warriors don't get swept and don't get swept at home. That means that they will win game 5 and either 3 or 4, so as long as they win game 6 they have a chance.

Fu*k all that bullshit bruh. If they lose game 2 they'll lose in 5. If they win they'll lose in 6. Either way the dubs are losing

Going down 0-2 in a series as the home team is fine?
Never heard that before.

If the Dubs don't get swept and swept at home then all they have to do is win game 6 to force a game 7. Even down 0-3 doesn't mean over.

Sure technically no buts it's pretty much over if u go down 3-0. Pretty sure this series going 6. Warriors will win Tonight. Boston will win both at home. Warriors will win at home and then Boston will close it out at home.

Actually, Game 1 was a must win for the Warriors.
Tbf, Boston lost twice vs Miami and Bucks at home so its not like they’re unbeatable at home.
I see GS stealing game 3 or 4 too.
