Curry actually took 5 threes a game for 3 straight years and was a 19 ppg scorer, but then the league strategy became the aforementioned 3-point contest, which allowed Curry's production to reach elite levels.

Ultimately, he's just a 3-point shooter, so he's 1-dimensional. Most overrated player in history

I did the same thing with Jordan in 96'

I was in a fantasy league with my buddies and HATED jordan - I was reveling off his failure in the 95' Playoffs..... then 96' happened and I ate the most crow that anyone ever has.. It was the goat season - I had to SUBMIT to the goat... And the rest is history.

Curry did the same thing this year - I thought he was a system guy that couldn't win with different rosters or resurrect the Warriors' dynasty.. I was dead wrong, just like Jordan...

I've come to realize that Curry actually fulfilles my top 10 criteria of knowing how to win, aka chemistry/brand of ball/organic... And also defeating maximum defensive attention, aka carry scoring load for playoffs and Finals of title run..

Knowing how to win and being able to defeat maximum defensive attention should be the primary factors in evaluating the greats and Curry is top 10 in these areas (I do however anticipate bumping him down to around 9 or 10 when he loses these Finals)

Ultimately, true greats like MJ and Curry prove you wrong.. Otoh, frauds like Lebron never do and infact keep proving you right (see the OP)
