Seems like a topic that should be adressed. Seen both sides to the extreme here
This is your chance to say nice things and opinions about old school and new school Nba to prove that you are neutral and unbiased
Ill be very honest and say nice things about each and every Nba decade starting at the 60s
60s While one sided, it gave the #1 defensive and ofensive big man ever, and players who broke the race barrier and it gave us the logo. Probably the illest starting 5 ever ( oscar, west, baylor, russell, wilt)
70s My least favorite but it was crucial for the influence of street bball and above the rim play and style. The merger must have been one of the most exciting things ever, wondering how the best player in the world would perform in the big league and boy did Dr j deliver from year one.
80s The best in my opinion. It saved the league literally. Too many top 25 players playing at once. Best rivalrys, great allstar games, great dunk contest and was trully a mans league
90s Suffers from being one sided but had the cool factor. Gave us the dream team, some of the most memorable highlights ever and the best vhs Nba documentaries for sure
00s my 2nd favorite and the one i know the most. Best dunkers and best dribblers in this era. The dunk contest progression really stands out here. Sick allstar games and the rough play and the rivalrys still present here. Has the cool factor of 90s but even better
10s the era where euro bball and global bball came to the forefront. The most skilled players by far and with the most range. It also became a position less game where centers started acting like guards.
20s Ill wait a bit more
Lest hear it. Prove you are NOT an nostalgic or a prisoner of the moment
