I was thinking about it and maybe 10-15% of all foul calls are indisputable. Whether intentional or flagrant even the guy who committed the offence wouldn't argue it.
The other 80+% of calls are purely subjective and wildly inconsistent. Like if a guy is driving and throws himself into a defender and falls or some light handchecking or whatever. It happens on every play like holding in the NFL. The refs just pick and choose when they want to reward and give momentum to either side.
Would it make things more fair to eliminate the common foul?
