People usually say how Iggy shut down Lebron and that changed the series.
But consider the fact that Lebron's efficiency was terrible that entire postseason.
As against the Bulls.
This was his efficiency
39.9% FG
10.7% 3P (he only made 3 total threes in the series [3/28])
80.0% FT (very impressive)
Against the Hawks, this was also his efficiency
43.8% FG
25.0% 3P
72.7% FT
All things considered, they really should have given the Award to Curry or Lebron as Iggy being one of the 33 players to win a finals MVP feels incredibly wrong.
For me personally, Curry averaging 25 PPG and over 10 PPG in the fourth should have seen him being given the award.
As without him going off in the fourth quarter of Game 5, they would have been heading to Cleveland down 3 2.
