I'm not a ketchup person whatsoever, that's why tried mustard years ago on those items and liked it.

Also like bbq sauce on fast food fries or mickey dee's hot mustard.

I've done honey mustard or spicey mustard on those things.

I've always preferred BBQ sauce on fries since I was a kid. Not anymore though since I changed my diet.

My preferred condiment for fries is Frite Sauce.

It's mayonnaise-sy, but with a bit of mustard tang. I get it from a European deli that's a few miles from here.

Not a huge fan of ketchup, but you can't beat ketchup on fries.

On a burger & a hot dog though? Mustard all the way. Ketchup on a hot dog should be banned.

Epicureans are quite rare, esp. in the countryside.

To OP, strongly recommend cole slaw.

Weird. I used to hate ketchup and tomatoes when I was a kid. I knew quite few friends like me too. I'd always put only mustard on fries, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers etc. At the drive thru I'd always ask for no pickles or ketchup. At about 9-10 yo my dad finally had enough and told me to stop being a crybaby and eat the meals on how they come. I finally got used to it and now I put ketchup on a lot of stuff.

I only buy Heinz no sugar added ketchup though these days. Not as sweet, and has more zing
