No firm details but he’s said to have some medical reg flags and may be using it to intentionally scare off teams he/his agent doesn’t want him going to. Draft is next week so not much time left and a lot of teams take guys off their board if they won’t submit to either testing or give up their history.

I guess I get it. If you don’t wanna be in Orlando or Oklahoma I don’t see why you would leave it to chance. People will legit judge your character for not playing/living 15-20 years where a ****ing ball dropped when you are a teenager. I guess it’s best to try to get where you might be comfortable.

Better this way than the Steve Francis way where you publicly diss a city you refuse to play for. Lots of guys have manipulated the draft for a better situation and we just don’t hear about it till much later.

I really hope KP stays healthy next year and the Wiz are at least a playoff contender, bc I think KP’s actual value is still largely unknown. He had some nice statistical seasons with the Knicks, but the team was garbage which probably made numbers easier to come by. With the Mavs he was a poor fit for Luka ball, and in both stints he had to battle injuries.

He looked pretty good over the handful of weeks he played with the Wiz and seemed to fit their offense much better than the Mavs. I dont think he’s a world-beater, carry-the-load guy, but I wanna see his ceiling in a good, ball-movement type situation. I dont think we’ve seen KP’s best yet tbh.
