For the record I can see Kobe and Curry a lot higher so the rankings are quite fluid. I feel like everyone from #5 Wilt to #12 Curry is largely interchangeable and in the same tier. The top 4 are clearly ahead of the rest though with the top 2 Jordan/Russell ahead of Kareem/Lebron for me as well.

I don’t really understand how Curry can be ranked ahead of KD. Their careers almost perfectly overlap and KD has been considered the better player the vast majority of the time and it was pretty clear who was the better player when they played together.

I can't put numbers to the names because... that's bullshit hairsplitting taken a bit too far for my taste. I think Hakeem ends up being the guy that gets bumped out by Curry right now. Hakeem was something else and at his peak he's ****ing up a lot of the names on this list in terms of peak play. I'm just not sure his career accomplishments are enough to keep anyone else off, all things considered and context fully flushed out.

I don’t see any issue having Kareem ranking over Lebron for now I’m sure when Lebron retires he will end up at #2.

Trolling aside, LeBron def top 5 all time, I just have trouble having him top 3 let alone #1 with so many Finals loses, Finals sweeps, 2011 fiasco and the fact he never has led a dynasty team. Too many black marks on his resume despite the insane accumulated stats, mang. I will say GOAT longevity, it's insane how durable he is and still preforming at a high level offensively even though he hasn't played defense in at least half a decade...

I’ve been watching NBA since the early 90’s the only player I can safely say was better than Lebron is Jordan however Lebron might be greatest all around player in NBA history.

he never gets injured and is always the best player in the playoffs and finals, proving that by being the best player in the playoffs and finals 7 years in a row from 2012-2018. 2011 argument is done.

but then you have internet nerds that are weak schmucks talking about how he is too soft for other eras - my guy is literally 6'9 270lbs :roll:

Lebron durability and longevity is insane no doubt. Lebron is now starting to get underrated in his later years. The only athlete more athletic than Lebron in NBA history is Wilt in my opinion.
