2015: Curry, Klay, Draymond, Barnes, Iggy, Bogut, Livingston
2022: Curry, Klay, Draymond, Wiggins, Poole, Looney, Otto, Payton II

2022. Way more experienced and talented.
Prime Andre Iguodala’s on ball defense is given to you by a superior player in Wiggins and also GPJR, and a suddenly more active fleet of foot Klay rounding back into form defensively to end the series … in spades.
They have a superior best player, who is physically stronger and more confident. Can shed defenders. And not get bullied by a little milk man from Australia.
Dray is an all time bully agitator now. And Poole gave them a different dimension with his ability to create off the dribble.
2022 hands down
more experience and wiggins is far better than harrison barnes. wiggins plus poole more than makes up for klay and dray declining.

Totally agree, bro. But even then Klay looked good at various points in the playoffs and Finals. You have to remember he’s missed two full years of NBA basketball, he’s going to still be rounding back into form into next year, even if he’s technically on the decline. But is he really? His game was never predicated on insane quickness or athleticism or leaping ability. He was starting to even look good defensively to end this final series. The Warriors are a shoe in to get back to the finals next year at the very least the Western Conference Finals. Hopefully we get a rematch with Memphis.

yup. livingston and barbosa were very solid off the bench.

2015 IMO
Klay and Dray were much better then and defensively the Warriors were a bit stronger too IMO.

warriors are going to lose to the bucks if they get giannis middleton and jrue all healthy in the same series
I think they would have won the ring this year if middleton didnt go down

I was going with players who averaged >15 minutes. Barbosa averaged like 10 minutes.

I mean, maybe. Same could be said about the Grizz could’ve knocked off Golden State. Ja in three games was putting up 38 ppg, 7 rpg, 8 apg, 3 spg on 51%

15 warriors without question. 22 has better scorers for a supporting cast and more depth around the big 3 but shouldnt underrate bogut and iggy's defense which closes the gap a bit. You dont need more than a 7-8 man rotation in the playoffs either. Wiggins was great the last couple series but keep in mind Poole was unplayable at times on the other hand.
Much more importantly curry klay dray were all significantly better in 15. Everyone knows about klay and dray declining but steph isnt quite as good as he used to be either. A good counter is steph was great in the playoffs, basically identical numbers to 2015 but it's a bit easier to put up numbers now. It wasnt your typical superteam but the talent was there in 15, curry was the clear MVP, klay and dray were all nba lvl top 15 players that year. Also from just a wins standpoint, even though the warriors had a lot of missed games from guys, it's still pretty hard to argue a 5.5srs 53 win team is better than a 67 win 10srs unless you argue the first team heavily coasted and had a dominant playoff run. the warriors this year didnt have that dominant playoff run and were healthy in the playoffs too.
EPM in 15 vs 22 for both rosters
15: Curry +8.9, Bogut +4.8, Dray +4.7, Klay +4.2, Barnes +0.1, Iggy -0.2, Livington -1.9
22: Curry 7.2, Payton 3.5, Dray 3.3, Klay 3.0, Poole 1.5, Wiggins 1.2, Looney 0.8, Porter 0.1

nah my dude warriors would've cleaned them up real quick if it actually got close
bucks are a huge team they are much harder for the warriors to hang with. they would dwarf and bully these boys.

Nah bruh the series was close.
Hell one of the games was super competitive in GS even without Ja. Having him there for the 3 other games in the series would’ve changed the entire complexion. Their youthful length, speed, athleticism, energy, hustle, were all the critical components to give GS problems.
The grizzlies best player isn’t a jumpshot shooting exclusive *****. He attacked the rim with vengeance. The Achilles’ heel of Golden State‘s defense.
He wasn’t a softie like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, with their stupid multiple sidestep jumpers that clank off the rim

I just know the warriors would outscore them and win. Im not putting a lot of trust in all of those young guys on the grizzlies. the dillon brooks and desmond banes. even with ja going off.
if the series got close the warriors would clutch it out the way they did the celtics. veterans always feast on inexperience which is what happened to a degree with the celtics.
you dont see a lot of young teams beat veterans in the form that the warriors were in this year. doesnt happen often. if you and me bet that grizz warriors series, I would've won that bet.
2015 if you are going to factor in their performance during the rs.

2022. Although I loved Livingston off the bench on the 2015 team.

Agreed. Barbosa by that point? This wasn’t mid to late 2000s Phoenix Brazilian Blur.
