View Full Version : Lakers 2020 or Warriors 2022?

I think the Warriors would win in 5 against the 2020 Lakers.

Post prime LeBron = pre-prime Tatum so Wiggins would lock him down too.

Kevon Looney = Old Man Dwight (plus Looney's better at rebounding)

Robert Williams was better than any center the Lakers had.

KCP is worse than White and less athletic.

Caruso is a good defender, but Marcus Smart was DPOY and it didn't help.

Anthony Davis is the X-factor for the Lakers, he's too big for Wiggins or Draymond and can shoot over them. He'd go off a few games and I think it would be enough to win.

Lol Lakers wouldn't have even made the Finals if it was a real situation

Warriors in 4-5

Y'know with Caruso and Rondo on defense and the mid-range game of Lebron and AD I think I would take them to beat the Warriors. The Celtics match up better against The Lakers but we saw with Tatum he didn't have a great series.

Hell no :lol

AD plays center a lot in the playoffs, and comparing 2020 AD to Robert Williams is so laughable it's not even worth addressing

Meh, tbh they're pretty close imo. KCP is a better defender, White is a better scorer

Overall, I could see the series potentially going either way depending on how Klay/Poole play (which is very questionable). Ain't no way we beat the Lakers in 5 tho, a team led by Bron and 2020 AD is not doing worse than the Celtics did

Its close but the Warriors know how to deal with size on both ends so they should win in 6.

This is what I'm thinking. AD, when healthy, is the ultimate mismatch. That team was also very large, and I feel its defensive versatility would've got them the win.
