Is that a skill you value even when being a ho is what makes it possible? You occasionally see league charge taking leaders but rarely does it come up who creates the most whistles period. Considering the penalty and limiting peoples minutes it’s obviously of use. A quick glance shows me a few random years without a deep dive. For example in 2007 these were the leaders in total fouls drawn:

Combined Foul Drawing (Shooting Fouls + Personal Fouls)
346 - Kobe Bryant
321 - Dwyane Wade
304 - Gilbert Arenas
298 - Dwight Howard
293 - Eddy Curry

Statmuse tells me Vince, Stockton, Dirk, Karl Malone, and KG drew the most fouls in recorded history.

But I’m not sure it accounts for being fouled on say…an over the back or something like Laimbeer up there.

Stats usually focus on shooting fouls and free throws. Like how Harden has been fouled on more 3s than any single team in the last 10+ years. I’d like to see some numbers on who gets fouled the most period in any way but I don’t want to do the legwork.

Are these numbers easily accessed somewhere I missed in my 12 seconds of looking?

most of that video is smart plays by laimbeer or dumb plays by portland with maybe one flop

Like most floppers most of his calls are legit and he just flops to make it look worse.

it varies from play to play

getting good position to take charges on transition d is admirable by anyone

there are a few you could call flops to different degrees depending on how hard he got hit each play

one play you can't even see what happened it's off camera

another the announcer says is a rookie mistake which it is going over the back on a rebound you have little chance to get

a few others are just pointless fouls/mental mistakes or things that just happen but if he's in your head you may do more stuff like that

ultimately i'd say laimbeer like rodman is a winner whether or not they win or whether or not anyone likes every play they were ever involved in

on a related note isiah once said rodman never threw a punch and laimbeer only did after he got punched first both of which i can believe
