That number 10 is Norm Nixon. Lakers starting point guard. He averaged 17 ppg/9rpg, and 2.5 spg while playing with Magic Johnson. Magic's original position was the shooting guard position. he became the primary point guard after Nixon was traded to the San Diego Clippers. The Late 1970's Lakers were a talented team that lacked team chemistry. Them drafting Magic Johnson was the reason why they became an NBA Dynasty in the 1980's from a 5th seed team in 1980 they became the best team in the West in 1980. Nixon and Magic had an intense rivalry cause Magic was a highly prolific rookie. Nixon don't want to be the backup point guard. That's why Coach Westhead both made them starters."
