Why aren't more presidents and politicians actors or former celebrities

Almost 20 soldiers that didn't need to be blown up, (and probably over 100 civilians), gifting the Taliban around 85 billion dollars worth of weapons, all because he wanted a 911 photo op, and then look at the camera and pretend to the casual American public that he's simply being criticized for finally having the balls to end the Afghanistan war. And then meet the parents of the soldiers that had to go Afghanistan, to be blown up, and act like nothing is wrong. Not lose one minute of sleep.

But out of all famous people, Ye (you-know-who) ran for potus in the most recent elections almost two years ago. It was quite funny to say the least.
