In a new poll out from Yahoo/YouGov, a whopping 64% of voters said that President Joe Biden should not run again in 2024. That’s nine points worse than how many say Donald Trump should not.
Trump also won the head-to-head match-up in the poll.
In the overall it was a convincing 64% majority that would dissuade Joe Biden. It was smaller but also a majority of 55% who would tell Trump no thanks.
On the yes column, Biden pulled just 21% while Trump pulled ten points more at 31%.
https://am14.mediaite.com/med/cnt/uploads/2022/06/Biden-Run-Again-2024.jpg
But it isn’t just in the overall where Biden’s numbers were bad. Even among Democrats a majority would not encourage a 2024 run, with only 43% saying yes he should, and a full 36% saying he should not.
Trump got a majority yes from Republicans, at 58%, with only 25% saying no.
It was even worse for Biden when narrowed down to those who voted for him 2020, where the nays had it 40% to 37%.
On the head-to-head matchup, Trump beat Biden in the poll 42% to 39%.
No doubt the continuing economic woes facing working Americans played a big part in the result.
SIXTY-FOUR percent.
64!
biden is done-zo.
not only that, but only 43% of DEMOCRATS are saying he should run again. a sitting president! lol. sit it out, joe. save yourself the little bit of face that's left.

Not surprising. Most said Biden would be 1-term president. He needs to retire after his term.

He should run again. Would be easy win for whoever his opponent is, whether Trump or Desantis.

Biden will be 82.
Trump will be 79.
I think most of the sane population in the US would prefer that neither of these two are in the 2024 election. If these are our two choices again then God help us.
That said, the US President doesn't have nearly as much control over the world as most think, and at this point the POTUS position is basically just used as a tribal trophy by most people.

But if you knew this would be the case in 2024 at least for Biden, then why did you vote for him in 2020??

Because the other guy was Donald Trump.
Biden didn't win because he is Biden. Biden won because he is not Trump.
Lots of people hate Trump you need to just accept that for what it is.

And what did Donald Trump do to you personally or to the country that made you vote for Biden who has seemingly left us in a worse position than when we had Donald Trump as President??
Lots of people "hate Trump" because they're told they should hate Trump by a disingenuous mainstream media that controls the narrative. No one on the Left has an actual and factual instance to show where and how Donald Trump made this country worse.

The bigger point I'm trying to make to people like you OTC (MaxFly) is that you shouldn't have to have Buyer's Remorse when electing a President. Biden was basically elected to remove Donald Trump, and then it was realized fairly quickly how incompetent Joe Biden is.
And so how people like you cope I suppose is that you probably say to yourselves, "Well, at least it's not Donald Trump cause for sure he would have done worse." Even though all evidence points to the contrary.

He's simply too divisive and polarizing. Even right now he's continuing to push his big lie. Recently on Truth Social he "retruthed" someone calling for Civil War.
We can not have a leader who is at war with half of it's population. And I will take a clueless old man falling off a bike over that even in 2024 if that is the only option. This country desperately needs to move away from the Trump circus.
I'd consider Ron Desnatis over Biden. Or anyone not named Trump for that matter.

But I could say the same thing about Democrats. They're at war with half the population. When the President labels Trump supporters as terrorists, Ultra-Maga, or White Supremacists, it only divides us further, when the old kook ran on a platform of unifying us, only to paint us as the enemy just because we belong to a different political party and ideology.
Was Trump brash and crude? Sure. But that was no reason to create a fake dossier in an attempt to impeach him. It's no reason to say that he called for an insurrection. The damage the Left has done to this country is insurmountable. Everywhere you go, the Left paints the Right as wrong for America.
The thing about Trump is that he disrupted the status quo in Washington. He threatened their power and their reign. And that's why he's public enemy #1 in their eyes. And that's the kind of President this country needs. Not someone who is part of the swamp and caves to big corporations and big tech.

Who started the dossier? Republicans to take down Trump during the gop primary.
Why did Trump not tweet for the riot on capitol hill to stop until many hours later? So many of his cabinet and family asked him to tweet or release a statement to stop it but he would not.
Why did Trump not call his vice president to see if he was okay during the riot? Trump did not call Pence even once to make sure he was okay.
Trump obviously wanted the insurrection to succeed so he stayed glued in front of the TV.

I think most would prefer an anti-establishment guy but we need one who doesn't push us into Civil War. I'll take the establishment over that every time.
And aside from his antics, he's also very old. He will be 79 in 2024 which is the age Biden is currently. He'll be in his 80s and when you're that high in age every year could be an extreme mental change from the previous year.
The US has a minimum age of 35 to be POTUS and after going through this I think we should consider a max. Can't run for election if over 75 or something like that. It's just too old.

Why are you peddling this nonsense when everyone knows that it was a law firm that was funded by Hillary Clinton that paid Fusion GPS to investigate Trump. What came of that was the "Steele Dossier" that was made up of lies in order to smear Donald Trump.

It's very hard to push us into a Civil War when most of us are employed and enjoying life under then President Trump. But when you have a Far Left President that alienates half the country like Biden does, then that's when a Civil War takes place. Let's face it, United States law isn't followed anymore. The Constitution is meaningless if no one abides by it. Crimes are prosecuted differently if you're a Democrat versus a Republican. Case and point, why is Eric Holder a free man? Why hasn't the FBI raided his house at 3 in the morning?? The Civil War is here, and it's not because of Trump. It's because Far Left ideology has taken over the Democrat Party. Donald Trump was just the first person in power to start calling them out.
I can agree with you on younger candidates, but I will not stand here and ignore how Far Left and how destructive the Democrat Party has become. Whatever insane idea pops into their head next, they all seem to run with it shortly after.

The dossier was initially funded by Republicans during the gop primary to take down Trump. When it was looking inevitable Trump would win the primary, Republicans pulled the funding from Steele dossier. Then Hillary campaign took over the funding in the general election.

No, you are wrong. The "dossier" was after the Republicans pulled out. All you have to do is Google it. You just don't want to be wrong. That's your problem. You want to protect your precious Democrats at all costs.
