You shouldn’t compare him to MJ but Wiggins became an All Star this year and the 2nd best player on the championship team. He’s 2 way. Shut Tatum down and can make clutch plays. Great mid range, can hit the 3, and some crazy dunks.

I told you guys that Wiggs was the real deal. He’s an all star and a champion now. I’m not sure Minnesota didn’t want to keep him and help him grow. He’s a big reason the Warriors won, despite Klay not himself. Wiggins did a fabulous job. Posterized Doncic.

I agree. Where are all the people that said that he didn't deserve to be an all star this year? 🤔

Wiggins didn't latch onto a dynasty until later in his career, so he developed a negative perception that he's overcoming now.

But if he joined Curry as a rookie, he would have several rings by now and would be perceived like Pippen

It's similar to Pippen outside the dynasty system - he was perceived as trash in Houston and Portland

I mean chef's greatest help for this year was also a finals mvp candidate.

Ball-dominators can't carry the scoring load with sufficient brand of ball to beat Finals teams, so they need all-time scorers and elite 1st options to play sidekick like AD, Wade or Kyrie

Otoh, off-ball experts like Curry/MJ can carry the scoring load with sufficient brand to beat Finals teams, so they can win with secondary scorers like Klay, Pippen or Wiggins

I don't remember Wiggins doing the greatest crossover of all-time and legendary play to carry the Lakers in the clutch of WCF:

Wiggins isn't on that caliber

As the #1 pick I think the critics were expecting a superstar. He’s now in a situation where he doesn’t have to be and good on him for evolving his game and making himself as useful as possible.

A lot of guys can’t do that and he certainly deserves credit.

Most here, including you, are actually giving the credit to Steph.
