That would be a hard deal to make. Would have to be based around JB. Short term a great move but long term Brown could become a perennial All-NBA guy himself. Celtics would be tempted and most likely go for it but as a fan I don't want it to happen.

I dont know if Kyrie is or isnt the right move, all I know is Pelinka needs to sit his ass down and let LEBRON decide.
(Not that Lebron wants to as it isnt his usual protocol to do so)

Well Durant probably hates Boston bc Kyrie hates Boston. I think thats how their relationship works.

I think kyrie stays in bkn but if he really wants out...westbrook isn't doing it. I'd throw in ad's soft ass and get joe harris and simmons back.

Kyrie Irving gonna opt and and sign for MLE 1 year.
Trade Westbrook for whatever wing 3-D we can get, or he comes off the bench for 15 mins a game.
Then a 4 year deal in 2023 once Westbrook's contract is off the books.

It's just about the max, I heard the length is the issue. Stipulations over how many games he plays guaranteeing full pay in the last 1-2 seasons. Kyrie wants max money with minimal effort and gets frustrated, he's the ultimate dipshit in the NBA.

The Lakers would still need to fill out their roster even if they were amazingly somehow able to pull off AD + LeBron + Kyrie. It wouldn't be enough.
LeBron was amazing and the team was highly dependent on him but 1) he's not the same guy anymore and 2) those Cavs teams from 2015-2018 were underrated overall as supporting pieces for LeBron. In fact, those rosters were amazing compared to the Lakers supporting cast last year.

LeElevator can turn any role player into a champion.
If LEBRON can stay healthy, AND his mediocre and overrated second and third options can stay healthy (physically and mentally).... then it is 100% championship or bust, and anything short of that would fall squarely on the organization, coaches, and supporting cast.
All Lebron really needs is a ball.

Lakers aren't going to be able to get rid of Westbrook. They're stuck with him for the next year.
kyrie is a retard
if he wasnt fragile I'd say lets go, sign up right now and pay the debt that you already KNOW that you owe the GOAT
alas he is a fragile retard.

Hes not trash as an offensive talent.
Hes trash as a member of a team that can be counted on to help when it matters.
Only LeFatherFigure has been able to guide him to even a shred of success.
Only LeFatherFigure has the key to unlock Kyrie’s potential.
he'll have a great season and get injured round 1 of the playoffs.

Can't even carry a franchise to a playoff berth alone while his team made it to the 2020 disney bubble without him.

pretty sure you'll be one of the 1st to post in the thread...continue your streak
and ironic, you've continually complained how its empty stats when Lebron's put up heavy stats and didnt win before, but now if Kyrie does it, it's OK. i wonder why? lol

If Kyrie, in the prime of his career, leaves the Nets to join the Lakers for the MLE, I will say that I have officially seen it all with the NBA. Not sure anything will ever top that one.
I don't believe it.
I believe Kyrie is trying to game the Nets.

Possibly, but he already willfully pissed away his endorsement with Nike, and forfeited a bunch of game checks last season.
Wouldnt be a surprise if he really does take the MLE.
The guy is just in a different place mentally.

Well, it could be. It would just be something I don't ever remember seeing out of a player. Realizing they are completely set for life with any measure of reasonable spending habits and being ok with leaving a ****load on the table.
Assuming he has $100 million or so, he would have more than he would ever need. If I had that much money, I would never want for anything ever again, and you can bet your ass nobody would ever tell me what to do ever again in any facet of life.

Kyrie dipping to the Lakers for the MLE at this stage in his career would break every precedent I've seen before in the NBA.
And he's contrarian enough where this might actually happen, but even contrarians like him want money

Kyrie doesn't have kids or marriage..that alone allows him to move the way he wants. He wants to be on a veteran team from way I see

The Lakers have cap space in the summer to sign him for 35-37m. But I believe that eventually, the trade will happen with NETS. The nets going nowhere this season, and they like to get a pick at least instead of seeing Kyrie leave for free.

Nets don't seem to want Westbrook though. That is the difficult part.

No team is trading for half a season of Rental Kyrie. Unless Kyrie commits long-term, a la like with the Lakers. I don't see Kyrie committing anywhere but the Lakers.
It comes to the Nets wanting to see Kyrie leave for free in the summer, or get FRP from the Lakers.
