Noticed the vegas odds of Nets attaining Ayton went up considerably in the last few days, now KD demands a trade. Hmmmm.

Ayton can shoot from midrange maybe he extends that to the 3

I hope if Durant is Suns bound that the Nets at least demand Mikal Bridges with Ayton. No exceptions.

They would need a lot more than that to make the salaries match. Two players who never made an all-star game or all nba team with low draft picks will not cut it.

Suns & Miami probably the favorites to land him if I had to guess.

Not necessarily. The SNT trade rules are different. I dont know the specifics but it isn't like a normal trade so the salary match is completely different.

Don't quote me because i am not sure but it may be that the Nets would have to match only 50% of Ayton's deal in addition to Bridges.

Ayton / Cam Johnson / Picks...would be a good deal for the Nets. Doubt anyone can beat that.

A soft center that needs playmaking to be relevant, picks and a solid talented player for a top 20 all time great that has 4 years on his contract? Yeah, it's going to be tough to beat. :S

It depends on how good one thinks Ayton is of course. I think he's really good and I also think Cam Johnson is really good. I've seen Bam / Herro floated as well...which is comparable, but I think Ayton has a chance to be clearly better than Bam.

It isn't like teams are going to line up to trade their entire future for an aging Durant...I'd agree with you if this was Durant at age 28 before the injuries. Dude is about to turn 34...
