This is what happens when you let the inmates run the asylum. These athletes aren't that smart. They're emotional and fragile.

For that reason alone they might just tell KD to suck it up and play or sit down for 2-3 years. You have to stay at least mediocre and he and Ben will do that themselves.

Yeah he has 4 years left on his deal. KD doesn't strike me as a guy who would sit out or dog it like Harden did. He will show up and play hard because that's what he does.

I can't remember if it was Woj, Shams or Windy but one of those guys said the Nets are working with him to find a team.

He's not staying and neither is Kyrie.

I really do think the Nets are just over the non stop drama, lol. This is one of those situations where winning isn't even going to get prioritized at this point imo.

The **** are you talking about? Every single team would prefer being a contender with drama rather than being a shitty team with no picks.

The Nets don't want the drama.

They might want to avoid drama but thats not the priority of any nba team. Unless it was a flat out racist player, that would draw attention from the whole media.

Whats that got to do with the Kyrie/Durant Nets?

Do you honestly believe the Nets are going to win a title or reach the Finals?

I'm pretty sure the Nets are looking at it like they're just flat out sick of Kyrie, and Durant is a package deal with Kyrie as far as the Nets go, and... rather than have all the endless drama AND still end up getting their asses kicked, they'd rather just cut bait. That's my guess, based off of alleged quotes that have been leaked out of the Nets F.O.

Mitchell for Durant!

That's actually a good idea. Especially if they can get them to take Irving with him. Does Conley still have that fat deal?

Gobert for durant!

Why would Durant want to be on that team? Nets might actually take Mitchell. They don't want Gobert. Gobert/Durant is one of the best teams in the league assuming Ainge does what he does and the 34 year old can make adjustments unlike COTM

certainly something to consider with 4 years to go on his deal. Still one of the best right now though
