So lets say Lebron suffer career ending injury in the 2012 ECF. Or MJ in the '91 ECF. Or Hakeem in the '94 WCF. Etc.

Everything else stayed the same, would any ATG still be ranked top 20? Top 10?

Jordan would be viewed as the Goat what-if story in sports history had his career ended in 1991.

He still would most likely be ranked as a top 20 to 15th player of all-time

Those who won early like Magic and Duncan would be ranked much less than those who won their first relatively late.

Depends on what their body of work was prior to getting injured. Guys like MJ and Lebron took 7, 8 years before winning, same for Shaq. Meanwhile Magic, Duncan, Kareem, Russell and Bird won within their first 2 years.

Obviously guys like Magic, Russell, etc wouldn't be ranked at all.
