View Full Version : Is KD cuck enough to return to GSW?

And where do you think he will go?

If he goes to GSW I hope Rapperport mentally and physically destroys him.

I highly doubt he would do that, given how sensitive he is. And going back to GS would not fix his reputation or do anything for his legacy in the eyes of his haters/Bran stans. He needs to go to a franchise that has not won in a long time and turn their situation around. He tried in BK but injuries ruined the last two seasons but I'd love to see him in DC or Portland and win with those teams, that would be the best outcome for him.

He was caught partying with Dray and Lacob 1 night ago, and Dray gave an interview sucking KD off likely for that reason.

Warriors can't win without them so they have to trade for him.

Durant has no say, he's just a player. If they trade for him out of desperation I'm sure he wouldn't mind carrying them to more titles and collecting more FMVPs.

I still have my KD warriors jersey in storage somewhere

Beat the team that swept his lanky ass.

I actually think a return to GSW is the best possible scenario legacy/narrative wise. Reuniting with the old gang, burying the hatchet, admitting his mistake, finishing the job he started. There is some logic and continuity at least, some kind of story to relate to. Another completely new team like Brooklyn would be a confirmation of team hopping of a career journeyman.

It would still be Steph's team and it would be viewed as "KD can't win without Steph". That's why I have a hard time thinking he would actually go there. GS does have the assets to make the trade and not gut their team though I think BKN could get a better return from other teams, unless GS is willing to give up Kuminga and Wiseman, which would not make a whole lot of sense for GS's longevity/future either.

Actually, the only way he can at least partially beat that narrative is to go there and win FMVP again.

Mostly because at this point he would be wise to know that teaming up with stars doesn't yield the desired results. GSW is his best chance to win.

It's Drays team

And Durant cucked Curry when he was there... imagine if D-Wade won all thr FMVPs on the Heat... but he didn't so it was LeBrons team despite him joining Wade

Casual fan narratives don't mean anything, it's just noise

It was still very much 50/50 in 2011 on who the best player in Miami was as Wade and Bran were really close statistically and the Heat obviously was Wade's team, but the injuries kind of changed that narrative real quick as Bran peaked and Wade went the other way. In terms of GS, KD had the superior numbers but people still don't give him any credit yet at the same time act like Curry did everything to win those 2 chips. I think when players and people in the FO of the org both disrespect you, there's no way you can return with those guys still there without losing all your dignity.

Ok, but they'd still say "Steph won without you in 2015 and 2022, you NEEDED him to win championships". They don't say the same thing about Steph because he obviously won without Durant. That + the disrespect he's received from Dray and the Warriors' FO leads me to believe that there's little chance we'll see him back in GS, plus I don't think GS wants to give up their young assets to land him anyway, as Wiggins alone would clearly not be enough to satisfy BKN in a trade.

lol it's funny what a legoat/kyrie teaming does to the gsw mental state. they'll never forget 3-1. seriously though i read the warriors players will not be pushing the fo to make this kd move.

Dray is the biggest emotional leader, that is true.

But both Durant and Curry co-cucked each other, you can't just say Durant cucked Curry.

Durant's legacy has taken an absolute beating since July of 2016 despite winning 2 titles. Curry's legacy would be higher as well if the Warriors were able to even get 1 more title between 2017 and 2021.

The most hilarious scenario is KD to GSW and Kyrie to the Lakers.

They can easily fit him cap wise, but I can see why you're having trouble seeing a guy who already played for 3 years with the Warriors and won 2 titles. Odd that you have no problems seeing Kyrie join LeRecruiter though.

Uh...Durant has a 50 million dollar contract

Curry - 45
Thompson - 37
Wiggins - 31
Green - 24
Wiseman - 9

And you got to sign Poole and Looney...so where's the money coming from Wiggins/Wiseman? You think the Nets will take that deal?

They can do a S&T with Poole. Or 3 team deal where Simmons goes elsewhere if Wiggins goes the other way. Klay leaving would be light work. KD's contract next year is 44m babyboi, not 50m.

Oh someone's going to take Ben Simmons...who. Also if you are moving Ben Simmons why would you go with Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole when you can get a max guy like Bam, Mitchell, etc. He starts at 44 million and he ends up at 53 at the end of his run with Curry at 55 and 59 for his last two years.

Which is completely irrelevant in regards to making the trade. Green is going to make 27m for 2 more years and Klay 40-42m for the same time. Both put together are not making more than 20m for the next deal unless Bob has went nuts. I'm not advocating Warriors make the trade, but they can easily do it. It's not about difficulty, it's about whether they want to or it makes the most sense.

We know why you're struggling so hard to understand though, KD joining gives you PTSD as a Lebron stan.

It’s a must discuss from the warriors pov though we’ll see if kd wants to. Wiggins Poole filler is enough salary wise. This lowkey makes the team cheaper in the future since Wiggins Poole could get like 65mil combined their next contract. Depth is definitely reliant on the young guys but I wouldn’t care with Durant

It sounds to me that you are trading Durant/Simmons for Poole/Wiggins I don't know why Lebron haters are embarrassing but you need therapy...or meth.

Warriors aren't trading for Simmons, they don't need two elite players who also happen to be the worst shooters in the league eating 55m/year salary.

if Lebron was cuck enough to go back to Clev, then Durant might do it as well

Personally GSW shouldn't trade for durant. No need to trade their young core for an injured past his prime durant

Depends what the warriors have to give. They won't break up their core.

Most they will probably trade is Kuminga/Wiseman and a few other fillers.

Would you give up Scottie Barnes for KD?

KD should've never left,Draymond's big mouth ran him out of town so he could keep a roster spot and get that $100M deal.GSW would've three-peated in 2019 had KD not got injured and prevented the Fakers and the Bucks from winning as well. This is all Donkey's fault.

A straight punk...I've lost the little respect I had for him following his decision to join the Warriors.

He definitely is. Nothing surprises me with this beta. In fact, I say he is more likely to sign with the Warriors than not.
He should definitely delete his twitter account when he signs though. He will not be able to handle reading the comments. He is already struggling to write a reply that doesn't expose he is crying while typing.

The only thing that could bring him back to true respectability is go back to OKC. Pull a LeBron from 2014, but unlike him, actually be a man of your word and stay there for the rest of your career.

No way this happens. For all the justifiable shit Bron got for leaving, I don't recall him ever badmouthing or taking shots at Cleveland while in Miami.

Meanwhile KD has been constantly throwing shade at OKC since leaving, even got caught shit talking them on some alt accounts lol

Shut up you whiny bitch. LeBron got Cleveland a ring like he said he would, he didn't owe them shit after that, players don't have to stay on one team like they're property of the franchise.
