Kevin Durant can't compare to Lebron because Kevin Durant doesn't win bronze medals.

It's actually a great comparison. Both of them are shameless colluders and team-hoppers. So far Bronie has more rings, but when all is said and done, KD may end up team-hopping his way to more.

It's a completely valid comparison. KD is definitely the more skilled player though.

The modern day supertars just shows how soft, entitled and betas the current generation of players are.

I dread to see how mentally fragile the NBA players would be in 20 years.

So you actually think that if things were like this in say 1984, that more guys wouldn’t be doing this? Like if they had the option to choose their own destiny..they wouldn’t?

Yes, for the most part.

Loyalty meant something back in the day.

Also previous generations in general worked harder and had pride.

Yea when there wasn’t remotely the level of opportunity to move. Easy to talk about “loyalty” in retrospect.

It’s actually hilarious. The people running the teams don’t care about a guy unless he’s performing. Who does a player, getting paid for his services in a purely transactional sense, owe loyalty to?

Durant did a 2peat

Lebron never 2peat with all his superteams lolol

Lebron Stans, shorten season doesn’t count as a 2peat :lol

No, he joins teams he can't defeat in order to win. A straight b-tch. You supporting him really shows what kind of person you are.

Who the fk are you to decide that a shorten season doesn't count. Did they shorten the playoff format or you still had to win 16 games to be crowned champion? Think about what I just say and if you smart come back to me with a bright response.

Anyone who legitimately ever thought KD and LeBron, age considered, were comparably good or that KD was better should stop watching the sport or at the very least save us from their thoughts.

I thought "jumping ship" was some sort of a guarantee for winning a chip. Yet:

Durant + Harden + Kyrie = no ring

Wha happun? :confusedshrug:

Lebron's skillset of frontcourt ball-dominance can't develop the great brand of ball that sustains dynasties like the Spurs and Warriors for a decade.

Instead, Lebron is a no-chemistry, talent-based winner (all-star team strategy) that goes 1/4 and leaves the team in shambles

Only a Ray Allen miracle stopped 1/4 in Miami, otherwise Lebron goes 1/4 and leaves teams in shambles

Regarding KD - Lebron had a 6-year headstart in colluding, so it isn't comparable - Lebron hand-picked the preseason favorite from 11-16' before Durant started colluding

There were opportunities to move. Not as many as now.

But that doesn't change the fact people from previous eras had a different mindset.

Of course the teams don't really care about the players, what else is new? We are only talking on the player's perspective.
