Yea I don’t know that happy successful people could find themselves wanting to behave like this for this long.

The happier and more successful Ive become the last 20 years the less time ive found to do this and even as obsessive as I can be about basketball I can’t stick to one subject. LikeI cant just talk about basketball much less one guy who plays it all the time repeating myself.

I spent the last week or so in the four seasons in the inner harbor Baltimore, walking around museums, casinos, and doing nothing really exceptional and I’ve not found time to post much of anything. Ive had an idea for a topic I plan to get around to but I’ve not really had time to put it all together.

I only had the time to post obsessively when I was an idiot workaholic waking up at 3:30 every morning and sitting in my office or walking by a computer all day. I was more or less happy and I judged my success differently at the time having been so poor in youth. I saw a good check as being a success. Now I see it as not really needing a check…and doing whatever the **** I want.

Im not sure I could be happy and what I consider successful at the moment and be 3ball level obsessed with an athlete. Youll find something better to do even if its nothing exciting. It can’t fight its way to the top of the list of things to do in an interesting life can it?

Can you imagine anyone interesting and successful making like 1600 topics about John Elways all time ranking? Wouldnt they eventually move on to one of the other interesting things they have to do?

Im not saying you have to be a lame to talk about basketball or football or golf or whatever a lot. I will say its hard to imagine someone being truly happy and successful and finding time to make literally thousands of topics online almost exclusively about some other man this way.

So inferior shooting efficiency isn't as correlated with losing as you think - the 14' Heat had by far the best efficiency of any Spurs opponent, but lost by the most and record amount. There's plenty examples of this - efficiency is great but it can't come at the expense of being the aggressor
