After the trade smoke settles, here are the only teams were KD can win a championship.
1. Warrriors
That's it.
Right now, every team he could join would have to give up too much or just aren't good enough on paper to challenge the Warriors, Celtics, Bucks, Suns, Clippers(Kawhi is back), etc.
Lets say he joins:
-The Suns: even with Booker + CP3 + Durant, this team isn't getting past Golden State.(Nets would probably want Booker in such a trade anyhow.. lol)
-The Heat: Butler + KD will not get past the Celtics. They probably couldn't get past the Bucks either. So, forget the Finals. Even if a miracle happened and they reached the finals, they would have ZERO chance versus the Warriors.
All the other teams not worth discussing because if these two teams wouldn't work(KD's preferred destinations), none of the others have ANY shot to win a championship.
So again, the ONLY team KD can get traded to, in order to win a championship, is the Warriors.
OKC with Harden and Westbrook didn't work. Reached the finals but couldn't win it all.
Brooklyn with Kyrie and Harden didn't work. KD ended up getting swept in the first round by the Celtics.
KD needs pretty much an already built proven championship caliber team in order to win a championship.
