wassup fellas. your boy was disciplined for leaving the airbnb last weekend, took my phone away, no passes this weekend. i had to sneak in a 2nd phone cuz i'm an addict and i cannot go a day without being connected to the outside world. the doc always asks me if i have titos vodka on me haha cuz i had some tito shooters in my pockets at detox. i remain in high spirits, the new talent brought into the center is eggselent. two chicks that are friends, hot af. i swear they could be models, one of them has leggs begging to be in a lululemon yoga pant. anyways, we changed airbnbs to a house that has no ****ing pool but i'm gucci, i am grateful i have a bed at night that is comfortable and not out on the streetz. we have a 1030pm curfew, last night me and my roomie were up till 1130 waiting on the airfryer to cook up some wings haha. primal kitchen buiffalo sauce is the best fyi. i put in a pass request for this weekend, i specified that i am chartering a cessna to sinaloa to pick up some packages for my primo. :roll: me and my roomate make the most ridiculous requests lol, he asked for a weekend pass to fly to LA to have his invisalign worked on lol. we requested alaskan king crab legs and prime ribeyes on the food shopping list :oldlol: we're currently working on how we can finesse a pass for a cocaine anonymous retreat in colorado next month.

some of the group sessions are WILD. i think they have made a mistake by mixing up mental health and addicts in some group sessions, there's been strong conflict these past 2 weeks. like straight up drama out of a reality show. some of them are hilarious though. we have a nutrition class once a week. we were reading about healthy foods and everyone is taking turns reading...guess what topic landed on me when it was my turn....beans. so i told the therapist, you pick the mexican to read about beans, aight. whole class erupted in laughter. it can be fun, but it can be very difficult at times. trying to make sense of all these emotions while sober is not easy. don't know how you normies do this shit everyday. this concludes my morning dump and i must return to group now.

Every single poster here is addicted to the internet, whether they're cognizant of it or not is another story entirely. And their addictions are REALLY bad, myself included. I was one of the first, and I've been aware for a long time. About 10 years ago now, I disconnected my home internet and got a flip phone. My life was in better order during this time than any other time. House was beyond spotless, lawn looked great 100% of the time, social connections were better.

But at the end of the day the conveniences of doing everything online won out and I pussied out and here I am.

Talk about a much needed societal detox that will literally never happen unless there's a massive internet outage...

What does that one lady say though? In life you must choose between boredom and suffering? She wasn't kidding... no internet for 6 months was BORING AS ****.

Every single time you drive down the road and see passengers they're all staring at their phones. Hell, sometimes the drivers. People out to dinner? Lots of phones. Walking around? Phones. It's actually insane how widespread the addiction has become.

no cell phone, no social media, no work, no emails, no internet, nobody there from outside world to bother you... just a nice 30 day timeout from your own life without any technology.

Learn how to eat properly, exercise, and read books. Meditate. Talk to strangers you'll probably never see again.


Rehab is designed for you to get a full and proper timeout from the game of life.

Take full advantage of that timeout while can because you probably won't get another one.
