Well he’s presumably wearing shoes in the photo, and those images are prob not intended to be precise so the angle of the camera could give or take an inch.

Wouldnt surprise me if he was between 6’5 and 6’6 barefoot. But players have rarely ever been listed by their accurate barefoot height anyway.

Proof of things isn't about one "gotcha!". He himself claims he's 6-4.5 or 6-5 (don't remember which) in an interview with Chick Hearn and the 1992 Dream Team roster measured every player, and Barkley came out at 6-4 and 5/8ths (6-4.6"). MJ by comparison was 6-4 and 7/8ths (6-4.8"). There are multiple pictures that at least confirm they're both about the same height, just like those Olympic measurements that had been taken. Kobe also has admitted he's 6-4 and 3/4 barefot (6-4.75"). Again, he stands next to MJ and looks virtually identical in height just like Barkley did. While you have one interesting photograph - the body of evidence shows he's about 6-5 or slightly under. That picture is probably just an anomaly that could be off for a multitude of reasons.

I stood next to him at the 2011 NCAA championship. I'm 6'1" in shoes. He was definitely not 6'7".

What is the source of that picture?

From what I’ve seen he isn’t 6’4” and he’s not 6’6”. He’s somewhere in between which is still very short for a power forward. Barkley also looks shorter because of his body shape. Thin guys took taller while stocky guys can appear shorter. That combined with him constantly banging with guys much taller than him back in his day gives him the appearance of him being shorter than he really is.
