View Full Version : I wouldn’t have thought he was a legend in two games like he’s Pee Wee Kirkland.

Would never have made my

“The money counter ding is so exciting/ Summertime? Winter fell, I'm the Night King. The Colgate kilo, the hood needs whitening/We fish scale ****** like we all Pisces”

list.

But apparently Nikola Pekovic is at least a close associate of or is in fact himself….a drug lord now.

I didn’t see it coming. But I also didn’t realize half the league thinks he’s the strongest person they ever met either. Guy just flew under the radar.

In retrospect though…he looks exactly like European muscle always looks in movies.

Like he should have been one of the Russian goons the Punisher fought in the gym:

Crazy to me how these athletes make so much money and go back where they came from to do the same shit. I came up around drug dealers. None of them would still deal drugs if the family had millions of dollars. Perhaps that’s the difference between a drug dealer and a drug lord. A lord is too high up to ever fully get out maybe. You can be an up the street millionaire selling drugs and quit. Whoever is the plugs plugs…plug? That guy probably can’t get out too easily.

Gotta try though right?

At that guys level his job is to keep the government bribed up. More politics than business likely.

Pee Wee scored 135 points in a prison league game back in the day.
Always wondered how he'd do as a pro. Was better than his future All-Starand HoF teammate Bob Dandridge in college. Apparently gave Tiny Archibald work on the NYC playground courts as well.

So the euro mob boss who Pekovic is affiliated with(Pek is in fact the Godfather of the bosses son) Is accused of plotting the bombing of some witnesses house, which naturally violated the terms of his house arrest. I just happened across the story and it came to me where I knew him from

Lowe: Pek was scary. Pek was legit scary.
LaVine: I came to the locker room one time and Pek was boxing. Full sweat boxing at a punching bag.
Lowe: I ate at a restaurant next to Pek once in Minneapolis. It was me and Damjan Rudez. Pek was at the next table. I’ve never seen a human being order more food at a restaurant. Food just kept appearing at the table. And he was like a rock. He wasn’t fat. He was a rock of muscle.
LaVine: Coming out of college, I was number 14. I wanted to have that in the NBA. He had it. I didn’t even feel like asking.
Lowe: Is that true?
LaVine: Realistically yeah. When I got traded here, Robin Lopez had 8. So I asked him for it. He’s a big guy but he’s really friendly. I wasn’t even gonna ask Pekovic for the number. I was terrified of him.

He’s the European Marvin Harrison juniors’s father. You don’t say his name. You merely allude to him.

The original punisher vs the russian scene was one of the best fight scenes from movie ive ever seen.

Kevin Nash the 6'10 WWE NWO wrestler was the actor and he actually got stabbed in the chest in this scene.

I think I've said this before but the way pekovic face and eyes look, he legit looks like a different variation of human. Like some type of cyclops Neanderthal denisovan hybrid giant.

He’s…something. I remember people talking like he was fat. He’s just a rock. Remember how big Kanter looked next to modern lean bigs? How he could just move them around? Well here he is next to Pek

As Drummond put it:

“He’s by far the strongest human I played against in my life. He is a very very strong man. I hate playing them every time I saw them on the schedule. Hated it. I knew he would move me around. I felt like a kid. He was just pushing me around. I’m fighting as hard as I can to stop him from backing me into the paint and I can’t stop him,” he said and added. “Yeah, he’s very very very strong. He’s the reason I started lifting harder. I can say that to this day, he is the reason why I started lifting weights more seriously.”

there’s an article I can’t find where Amari was annoyed. Somebody was saying, Dwight Howard was stronger than him.. He was like they all lift weights and they’re all strong. But he acknowledged Pekovic actually was the strongest. Only one he’d admit was stronger.

Dwight Howard was being chewed out by Stan Van Gundy for not boxing out and he went over to him almost whining like a kid and said “You don’t understand. He’s the strongest man in the world.” and Stan gave him a break. Stan told the story on a podcast.

some people just aren’t built like normal people. You can lift all you want some people just have a natural core strength and solidness that is probably genetic and handed down from years of hard lives eliminating the weak while living in the place they come from.

Like people from the Himalayas tend to have better lungs from adapting to the thin air.

I don’t know what life in East Europe did to bring it about but some real monsters come outta there. Not like it was war torn for thousands of years. These kinda adaptions don’t happen overnight .
