I always found it unrealistic how George always dated very attractive women. He wasn't really a looker, lived with his parents, short, bald, couldn't contain his temper, not in control. And Seinfeld also, though it makes a little sense in that he was technically a celebrity in the show.

Because he’s fat, bald, and average. They know he isn’t pulling 10s right and left, so they have a sense of safety that they can keep him loyal and focused solely on you. Plus, he checked the boxes for funny and somewhat charming.

I dated a chick way above my league, like way above it, always had the feeling she felt safe with me because she knew we’ll I couldn’t really date much higher than her if at all. But I grew resentful because I sensed she felt she was better than me. She wasn’t a gold digger, she just legitimately was seeking a relationship with someone she thought couldn’t hurt her. I screwed up and she dumped me overnight essentially. Hurt me a lot, but it taught me an important lesson, all women are stupid bitches that act on emotion and not rational thought.
