You see, you don't live in the real world where a SBO like me cannot afford to hire anyone and I have to work 6 or 7 days a week because people are spending less.

You just regurgitate the lies you hear on CNN. Leave your basement and walk the streets and talk to SBO's and you'll see what's really happening.

I don't care what you label it but spending is up. That is the entire reason the Fed is raising rates. That's the entire reason there is inflation.

If a business is doing poorly in this climate it's a bad sign for the business. And none of us need the media or reddit to tell us the situation. We can all see the "we're hiring" signs everywhere. We can all walk into a restaurant and see how over worked everyone is.

Spending is actually down when you adjust for the 30-40%+ of inflation, you know the real inflation number. And inflation exists because of all the money printing, not because of spending. The labor force is weak now because many people are in the gig economy and doing other side hustles moreso these days than traditional 9 to 5 jobs. That's spending graph is not adjusted for the 30%+ minimum inflation. So you're wrong, once again. Also, demand doesn't always drive up prices if there is a huge supply, learn how supply/demand works.

Inflation is coming from the printing of money, and that's the root cause of why the price of everything went up. Not demand. In fact, limited supply due to Racist joecession biden's policies is a bigger factor than your make believe world of "high demand" right now. Consumer optimism is at an all-time low, people are trying to save money not spend spend spend during the joecession.

Wrong. It's not that the demand is high, it's because the supply is low due to Racist biden's supply chain issues.

You can also say, competition is lower these days because many small businesses went out of business. Less competition also equal higher prices. You're delusional if you think the 99% are spending money like crazy and increasing the demand of everything. :facepalm

And to make this more simplistic, let's just say that is the only thing you buy in a year.

Now in 2022, 100 units of x item now costs $900 total for the entire year.

The spending report of 2022 is almost 2x of what it was in 2019. Now repeat same thing for every item that everyone buys in 2022. Spending went up, demand did not increase, but the prices went up because of money printing.

He has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to the supply chain fiasco. I'm losing business right now for two main reasons:

1. Inflation - People are not wanting to spend that kind of money right now, or are looking for cheaper alternatives

2. Supply chain - I've had thousands in returns already cause I can't give the client a straight answer on when their items will be arriving cause I can't get a straight answer from the trucking company who can't get a straight answer from the Port Authority.

The ongoing economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic have taken a bite out of Americans’ savings.

The average amount of personal savings dropped 15% from $73,100 in 2021 to $62,086 in 2022, according to Northwestern Mutual’s recent 2022 Planning & Progress study. And 60% of U.S. adults say that the pandemic has been “highly disruptive” to their finances.

Not only has personal savings dropped for the 98%, the purchasing power of each dollar has dropped due to Racist bidenflation. The 15% is actually a lot worse if you adjust for the 30-40 something percent of bidenflation. But in ISH's daily fake news, LowIQoffthecourt states "the 98% in 2022 are spending money like crazy these days because the economy is so great. And...inflation is transitory! It will disappear in January 2022. I mean in April 2022. Racist biden just needs to print more money to slow down inflation!"
