Just so we can end the jobs being created vs jobs just returning to pre-lockdown levels debate.

And if trump runs again two years later then wins also, would it mean more jobs could be lost as well? Intriguing, coach.

He realized that the Covid NPIs were a giant scam in spring 2020. Unable to defend them anymore, he bolted.

Lockdowns didn't begin until 3rd week of March 2020. Lets compare March 2020 to June 2022 if you are being honest and not a partisan hack. How do those 2 numbers compare, OP?

I'm the partisan hack when you literally parrot every major Democrat talking point? :lol News flash buddy, Republicans and Democrats both suck.

2/2020 is more accurate to begin the comparison than 3/2020 since 3/2020 is when the lock downs began. Use your brain.

You know, I'll agree with these numbers. But I will say July just ended, and it looks like just a month or two before the new "high" is in. So enjoy it while it lasts I guess. Which could be today only.

In the tweet posted in the OP. It looks like his entire point is that we have been digging out of a recession that started 6 months ago with Trump.

Overall these are not pretty numbers for those who are openly rooting for economic decline.

Economy must be doing splendid, wait it's not. Do you know any servers or bartenders? They'll be the first to tell you the economy is shit. They're struggling, so what do you make of it? Personally I think a well trained monkey can do their job, and they're entitled so I have no sympathy. Still they're feeling it pretty bad, it's an indication things kind of suck.

Blaming a pandemic that AFFECTED THE WHOLE WORLD on Trump is pretty blade of you AND him

When did I blame the pandemic on Trump? Sounds like another one of your fairy tales used to build a strawman argument.

However, it is something you do regularly. You blamed inflation on Biden that the whole world is dealing with coming off covid shutdowns.

Come back again next time with something else better, dummy. I highly doubt you will be able to.

That's literally the only group who has seen wage growth that is beating inflation.

You mean they are struggling in that they are overworked and there aren't nearly enough of them to meet demand? That kind of struggle is the polar opposite of "the economy is shit".

Servers and bartenders are making more than they ever have before. There just aren't enough of them to meet the insane demand so most of them feel burned out and overworked.

negative i've been through this with you enough times that i've labeled you a bot

the only reason we're dealing with this is BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO SHUT DOWN IN THE FIRST PLACE. YOU GOT YOUR WISH, we shut down and now you don't want to take any accountability for what was going to happen.

also you work part time right? You don't have your own property so stop educating people, you're a NOBODY

I have eyes, I see a woody's bbq with no one in it at lunch time on a saturday. I see this often. Find a chart for that.

I know the general manager, she is struggling

I know the bartender at a chili's, she is struggling

You have eyes but you can't see the "we're hiring" signs on every restaurant because they are struggling to get help?

You just exposed yourself as having no clue.

The food industry is booming. The retail industry is booming. Do you think inflation could even happen if no one was spending?

Why do you think the Fed is raising interest rates? They are trying to calm down the economy so that inflation goes down.

And then you are gauging the situation of the entire US using your local Chilis? :lol

In fact that is the worst part of these surging job numbers. It means the economy is still over stimulated and it will ultimately result in the Fed raising rates again until it calms down. It sucks but for inflation to die we need to economy to die down some.

The only thing they have managed to calm is the mortgage industry. House prices are finally going south.

Oil prices are finally going south too. Our best hope is that those two things dropping will convince the Fed that inflation is starting to tame.

It wasn't just me. Shutdowns were global. Even if we stayed 100% open & had more deaths, the rest of the world would have still shutdown. Supply chains are global and not American. Therefore, we would have effectively shutdown. Capische, my dear little prince?

It's you refusing accountability. Ofc shutdown would have ramifications. Ramifications like inflation. However, you refused to admit that.

Virtually all of these "new" jobs fit into two categories - unqualified diversity hires in major corporations trying to increase their ESG scores, poor folks that are getting crushed by inflation so they decided to pick up some extra hours driving for Uber or Grubhub as their 2nd/3rd job.

There are plenty of jobs available, at least where I live. I ran a bunch of errands over the weekend. Grocery store, hardware store, auto parts store, couple of fast food places. Literally every single place had signs up letting everyone know they were hiring. Many were openly posting starting salaries that are twice the federal minimum wage, or even more. (Which I have learned from a neighbor that they usually try to weasel out of once they think you're hooked.)
