Klay/Dray hadn't been all-stars yet heading into the 2015 season
Otoh, Hornacek was a 1-time all-star that out-produced Klay across the board and Stockton/Malone were perennial all-stars.
The 15' Warriors were clearly newbies that barely beat an injured Lebron team, so they have no chance against the 98' Jazz that swept Shaq's 4 all-star Lakers and demolished Duncan/Popovich/Robinson.
The 90's West had insane parity and history shows that any winner of that conference was an organic juggernaut with YEARS OF WARS in that conference

Lebron defeating a 73 win team
Lebron had the preseason favorite from 11-16' - so his teams had more on-paper talent but weak brand prevented 70-wins like Curry and Kawhi were pursuing (better brands of ball)
Ultimately, the "comp" argument doesn't work for the preseason favorite because that would reward underachieving the expectation.
Lebron defeating a 73 win team
Lebron had an equal scoring partner to attract equal defensive attention, so he didn't face maximum defensive attention.
This is objectively inferior than defeating maximum defensive attention (carrying the scoring load).. We saw Lebron against maximum defensive attention in 07' and 15' Finals where he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.
Imagine if Pippen went to the 93' Finals and ragdolled MVP Barkley, while hitting the Game 7 walk-off (top 3 all-time shot) - that's what Kyrie did to Curry, so it's absurd for Lebron to say it's his goat accomplishment.
Or the Bulls losing peak Jordan and still winning 55 games
A three-peat was required first...
for the 55 to happen
That's the historical record, not opinion
So the 55 wins was Jordan's accomplishment - that's how much he "elevated" his teammates in response to critics that said he was inferior to Magic/Bird for that very reason.
He worked with his team to learn superior basketball every year until the team had developed the best brand of ball in the league, thus needing minimal talent
Nonetheless, talent is still needed to win in the NBA, so after the honeymoon period was over in the 94' Playoffs (2nd Round), the Bulls were borderline lottery in 95' before MJ returned - so a 3-peat dynasty was destroyed to lottery in less than 18 months.. The most remarkable thing in history is that MJ actually 3-peated again after returning - it confirmed that prime MJ was literally worth a guaranteed 3-peat

Defeating 73 win team with unanimous MVP in 2016 finals is already considered the greatest finals win of all time.
Nothing comes close.
It will be referenced and talked about for decades.

OP has been on a meltdown ever since Bron became considered a better scorer than Jordan when he surpassed kareem for all points scored reg and playoffs.
When Bron takes over Kareem reg season. I will pray for 3ball's mental health. :oldlol:

The simplicity and effectiveness of this post. Pow.
What's impressive in terms of finals mvp counts? 4/10 or 2/7?

Young bison definitely got an early life lesson when the 98 jazz dismantled one of the best laker teams assembled. Stockton and Malone earned my respect for life. Those pick and rolls were brutal, made Shaq and company look like chimps. The only other thing I have ever seen like this was when the 2014 spurs ran laps around Bron and wade. Beautiful, high IQ basketball still has a place in this league despite what the media tells you. Maybe the euros have something up their sleeve.

That 15 warriors team was crazy. They didn’t start as the favorites but as the season went on, their brand of ‘novelty’ basketball became the law of the land. When the playoffs arrived it was a done deal. They changed the game forever.

Lebron needed a Pau-level player at 3rd option for 3 of his rings, and then he needed a teammate to lead in scoring for regular season and playoffs (AD)
So Lebron's inferior brand of ball needs more help and yields weaker teams (4/10)

Jazz as they beat Prime Shaq/Kobe, Duncan/Robinson, Hakeem/Barkley/Drexler. Lebron could barely beat old Duncan and was still down with a loaded team.
