I got a 1970's Bills wall plaque that hungs up in my house. Never collected much sport items but I understand why people would have a signed jersey displayed in their mancave.

There's only certain athletes you can display in your hone without being lame

Tiger woods
Trout/mantle/Maris/clemente
Montana/Favre/Warren moon

Notice I'm mixing blacks in for the black guests, and they're not the most popular guys (except woods because even older whites respect woods as a memorabilia piece even despite the personal stuff)

If I see you have jordan or Brady in your house I'm leaving and never talking to you again.

I used to collect Todd MacFarlane action figures in my late-teens and early 20s, but not the sports ones. I sold them all off when I moved to the Cape for a new job in 2014. I just went back to my ebay account to see what I sold them for:

- Metal Gear Solid Series 1 and 2 ($2,000 to a guy in South Korea - was a bidding war)
- Tortured Souls Series 1 and 2 ($500 for S1, $250 for S2)
- Infernal Parade ($250, sold to the guy who bought S2 of Tortured Souls)
- The Matrix Series 1 and 2 ($250 for both)
- Movie Maniacs Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (S1 and S2 sold to one person for $750, S3-4-5 for $450)
- Macfarlane's Monsters 1, 2, 3 and 4 ($650 for all four to one guy)
- Dragons Series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 ($1,000 to someone who had the newer series)

I bought all of these at retail outlets for sticker price, so I ended up profiting nicely.
