Thomas passed the ball to Jordan in that game. Jordan went 2/9 from the field in that All Star Game. He struggled offensively back then they were very serious in this game.

MJ scored 7 points in his alll star game debut

jordon is a pathological liar. This proves it.
Nothing he says should ever be taken seriously.

This is another one of those stories that seemed to take on a life of its own over time (sort of like the MJ-Muggsy tale), being twisted and retold over and over again until the resulting belief was, "Isiah Thomas completely froze out Michael Jordan in the '85 All-Star Game by never passing to him once and refusing to even look in his general direction, all while plotting Michael's demise in the huddle during time-outs."

In truth, as can be seen, Isiah did involve Michael Jordan in the offense. In fact, out of nine rookies who made all-star appearances in the 80's, Jordan led them all in all-star debut field goal attempts.

Michael Jordan (1985): 2-9

Hakeem Olajuwon (1985): 2-2

Ralph Sampson (1984): 2-7

Isiah Thomas (1982): 5-7

Kelly Tripucka (1982): 3-7

Buck Williams (1982): 2-7

Larry Bird (1980): 3-6

Bill Cartwright (1980): 4-8

Magic Johnson (1980): 4-8

That being said, the prevailing story through all this has been the notion that Isiah and Magic Johnson had agreed to guard one another prior to the game, with a gentleman's agreement to not treat the defensive side of the ball like it was Game 7 of the Finals. That left George Gervin on Jordan, who likely just went out and played ball like normal. I wouldn't doubt if Isiah and Magic were indifferent to Jordan's struggles, but I find that to be a much different story than actively refusing to ever give him the ball.

Face 2 face with isiah in the playoffs, jordan was actually 1-3 against him until the implementation of flagrant foul in the beginning of the 1990-91 season.
