Did you seriously just applaud the IRS?
And are you still foolish enough to believe that taxing the rich will benefit regular middle class folks? Yea I'm sure taxing the holy hell out of the people that provide you a job will give you more job security.
You are on AOC's level with that comment.

WASHINGTON (SBG) — The Biden administration is facing growing backlash over a plan to provide the Internal Revenue Service with data on individual bank accounts with more than $600.
Does having $600 in your bank account qualify you as the wealthy elite?

Officials are reportedly weighing possible charges against Hunter Biden as the federal investigation into the president’s son has reached a “critical stage,” sources said.
Hunter Biden, 52, could face charges related to possible tax violations or more seriously, foreign lobbying violations, Fox News and CNN reported.
The possible charges stem from a probe into Hunter Biden’s finances and overseas business deals which is being conducted by Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, a prosecutor appointed by former President Donald Trump.
Weiss and the Justice Department have reached a point in the investigation in which they are looking into the possibility of charging President Biden’s son with various tax violations and/or foreign lobbying violations, sources told the outlets.

And, lest we forget, the IRS is also one of the government entities that spends a shit ton on firearms as well. https://www.thetrumpet.com/25943-why-does-the-irs-need-4500-guns-and-5-million-rounds-of-ammunition

52k IRS employees are expected to retire over the next 6 years. The new IRS funding is happening over a 9 year period, not all at once and it’s not just going to hire tax collection agents. Also one would assume that between now and 2031, when the funding finishes, there will be someone other than Biden in the White House.

It's amazing how Democrats can get away with crimes in this country. We have two systems of Justice. Republicans and Conservatives are being unjustly persecuted while the ones doing the persecuting are the ones actually committing the crimes.

he didn't destroy shit, this is happening to every business. Let's pass a plan for all businesses then if we're going to do such a thing. You sit there and act like it's some huge surprise that baby boomers are retiring. It's not rocket science blade, although for your fat part time living at home sorry ass it probably is.
go ahead acknowledge why they are being weaponized while you're over there gagging on demorat **** too. Also even if we lose 52k right on the dime, that's THIRTY THOUSAND MORE being added with a nation whose birthrate is DECLINING. AND, and this is just ONE BILL.
blah i'm done with this board, it's the same tired 4 or 5 idiots that are never going to change ( offthecourt, unemployedneverdoanythingBOTblade, BOT lakerlegend ). Get way more intelligent conversation on reddit/economy even though I hate reddit.
I used to play video games with someone that worked for the IRS, basically any and all complaints you have get tossed in the trash. So before I leave this garbage board permanently, keep that in mind.

IRS takes very long to audit tax returns and doesn't have enough manpower to run through all of the audits. They will be adding 3,500 new IRS agents per year across the nation of 330 million people. That's 1 new IRS agent per 94k people, and here you are going off the deep end in your rage :facepalm

The IRS had approximately 2100 agents that are armed. They deal almost exclusively with corporate fraud (think Enron/Theranos), wire fraud, international fraud like terrorist funding etc. the chances of a normal individual taxpayer ever having to deal with these guys is close to zero. For comparison, the US Secret Service employs about 4500 armed agents, US Customs employs over 40k armed agents. I am not a fan of enlarging any federal agency but that horse left the barn a few decades back. Neither party is for small government, they just have different “favorites”.

Throughout the 80’s/90’s/00’s, the IRS employed between 80k-100k people while criminal investigators (the armed agents) has been consistently in the 2500-3000 range.
The overall number of employees started decreasing for various reasons around the Bush/Obama administrations, in that time frame the number went down from around 90k to around 70k and it’s increased 5-7k in the last 2-3 years.

When the Patriot Act was passed, this was the refrain from the right. It’s actually a statement attributed to Joseph Goebbels (if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear). So both side seems to be admirers of Mr. Goebbels.

Ideally, in a country as a great as the United States was and should be, it should be 87,000 new Private Sector jobs and not 87,000 new government jobs. BIG government should scare all of you. But some of ya'll are just ****ing sleeping. Or just willfully ignorant. Even a muppet like RRR3 isn't as crazy as some of you and he sees the dangers of government. He just goes too far with his anarchist crap.
But the rest of you....you guys are in for a rude awakening.
