View Full Version : Lakers are going to be a lottery team this upcoming season

TAZORAC

Anthony Davis will get hurt after about 20 games, LBJ is 40 years old, Westbrook has been in the NBA 15 seasons and will never learn how to shoot. The rest of the team are unproven nobodies.

The Lakers only glimmer is hope lies on Nunn (who has never made an allstar). Nunn could be prime Mike Conley at best.

This Lakers team is far worse than the last 2 seasons.

Not surprising
Without AD. LeCuck would have led the lakers to 5 straight lottery seasons

A lottery team without a pick

Lebron has sabotaged this franchise for the foreseeable future

OP saying that a team whose prospects for success are 90% based around 2 players will suck if one of those two players plays only 20 games?
Wow, what staggeringly informative analysis. Give him a Pulitzer prize this second! :oldlol:

His layup of a prediction is a bigger contribution to this forum than your 100k+ posts across multiple alts over the years

Lakers get younger this year and also added some legit scorers like Lonnie Walker.

It all depends on AD. If AD can stay healthy, they'll do well.

No AD, no playoffs.

On the other hand, as we've all seen clearly demonstrated, no Lebron, no difference.

Tazorac might finally be right but he has to compare Nunn with Conley

Lonnie Walker the next Monk to keep them in the fight for a play in spot!

Nope. Vogel is gone and he was the weakest link. Ham is a huge upgrade and the Lakers will improve considerably just because of him.

and it won't matter because Lebron and Davis won't be on the floor and they are a horrible roster without them

They were the 1 seed and LeBron was kicking major ass before your boy got the league shut down.

The Lakers are going to come out with a vengeance this season. Everyone on the team is highly motivated to kick ass because they've been dragged through the mud for a year. LeBron will be an MVP candidate once again with a good shot to win it. Vogel was a one dimensional coach that never connected with his players whereas Ham is well rounded and a natural fit with the players so that upgrade is going to pay dividends. Communication on the team is going to be much improved.

And if the Lakers acquire Kyrie, it's over. But even if they don't, Russ is gonna go HAM for Ham.

And of course when this happens nobody is going to be too surprised because LeBron.

See, this is where you're just a blind idiot...

He wasn't even top 10 in the voting for last season....

You're such an idiot that you think playing only one end of the floor and getting team killing, empty stats and missing the play-in is mvp worthy hahahaha

NOT TOP 10 - OFFICIALLY.

Let me let you in on a little secret. At the NBA level...coaches really don't matter. You could have made anybody the coach (manages who plays and how many minutes) the fact of the matter is the Lakers had the worse shooting 3 point team last year and it was made worse by the fact the Lakers couldn't play defense.

My honest opinion...

AD is healthy for more than 60 games.
Defense improves
Lebron shoots more 3s..less drives
Westbrook is not on the team.

Team will be play in caliber.

Yep, and let's not forget about his trend of disappearance in fourth quarters. And his abysmal record of hitting clutch shots.

Not sure how with a loaded squad. 2 guys who won league mvp in there primes, DPOY, Scoring champ, PER ring leader to name a few. No one else has that.
