Bingo. Giannis nailed it. Lebron is number 1. Elevates an entire team - ANY team - into a legitimate contender if healthy.

Most purported stars like Harden or whoever are just guys who get points in sexy ways, and if theyre on good teams they might win, if theyre on bad teams theyll lose. But theyre not elevating like LeElevator.

Joker number two. Big ass gravity that can accommodate whatever the talent around him has the capability to do. If they can shoot he’ll find them, if they can cut, he’ll find them. His game removes everyones ceiling and whatever their best is will be released. Also puts up an efficient 25/14 while he’s at it.

After that it gets murkier. Im basing this on who I want over the course of a playoff trip, I dont care about regular season. I think the next guy I take is Embiid, even tho I still dont entirely trust he’ll stay focused and mature in critical situations. But it’s just too much talent and size, when he’s balling theres just no answer. He’s a force.

After that everyone’s game has at least some small flaw, and I think choosing among the next 5 or so players is splitting hairs.

Last guy Id pick among stars is Anthony Davis. Soft, weak, inconsistent, injury prone. Winning with him is like winning 2 chips at once basically.
