No doubt. Bron is too big, too strong, too athletic, too much for MJ to handle. No way that shrimp could defend The King.

No way in hell would Lebron play him 1 on 1. Are you kidding? Slam Dunk contests made the man's knees buckle what would happen if he looked at this;

Bigger guy usually has the advantage in a 1 on 1, I think Bron would be the betting favorite according to Vegas.
No shit he’s way bigger. Shaq would destroy LeBron 1 on 1.

Especially against guys who lose in 1 on 1 games where they themselves are the bigger guy:

So? Do you watch the vids beyond the first answer? He's flipfloppibg arou d Lebron, Jordan and Kobe.
And that's Artest never guarding prime Jordan.

Usually yes, because they take the smaller guy to the post, but Lebron's postgame isn't that good while Jordan was a really good post player. Would be interesting to see. The crazy thing about Lebron is that he plays like a 6 foot guard in a 6'9" body, but he has no quickness advantage in a 1v1 halfcourt set. The strongest aspect of his game, which opens up alot of scoring opportunities, his playmaking, is taken away.

Show me his 1v1 go to move in the post. Yeah he incorporated some fade, but it's not really that reliable. He did some post playmaking in Miami and less on the Cavs, but Lebron is mostly face up, prefering the game being layed out before him. That doesn't mean he sucks in any way.

I had a longer kblaze style answer with videos written down, but I honestly don't care that much about either player so I'll simply ask:
Do you really think Lebron is the better postplayee than Jordan? I doubt öeople are convincable when it comes to their favourite players and stats only do so much when you change the parameter of the game played.

Lebron is incapable of driving and hitting a pull-up jumper off the dribble.

I didn’t say he was a better post player than Jordan I said he was a good post player. Weird reach.

Yeah, as said post fade. I don't think he gets the jump hooks that much against Jordan. I wouldn't underestimate Jordan's gambling on steals and mindfullness on D. Just watching the videos you can see clear tendencies. About what shot he'll do over which shoulder. I'm not saying it isn't close and Lebron wouldn't win, but I don't think size is that much of an advantage for him as it is for Shaq vs Jordan for example.

Yeah and I said isn't that good. As in isn't that good between him and MJ. Of course he can post up alot of players in today's NBA, but his moves are limited and a 1v1 contest vs one of the better post players and better defenders in history isn't a given just because he's bigger. That's my whole point. This isn't KAJ vs Dr J.

Obviously it isn't, but LeBron's edge in size and strength for sure has to be taken into consideration. Bigger dudes thrive in 1 on 1s, Worthy used to beat MJ in 1 on 1 all the time in college, but granted that was college.

Haha just referenced that in my last post. Of course his size has to be taken into consideration. Basically the decisive factor would be how close and how regular Lebron could get to the basket. I couldn't predict that tbh. That's why I said not a given.
Kevin Love has gone on record saying LeBron killed KD when they played 1on1 in 2014 for what it’s worth.

Size always wins. Kareem proved it when he smoke Dr.J.
3 inches and 50lbs is a huge difference. Just like prime Shaq would beat both of them.

Nope
It isn't a big size advantage
Only 2 inches and Lebron's reach isn't greater
And Lebron isn't a good post player.. He would score a couple points and then have a clumsy miss because again, he isn't a skilled post player and has no touch around the rim . He has stone hands and that's why his jumper is broke too
And once Jordan gets the ball - it's lights out - Lebron would not get the ball back.. Jordan is a goat post player with feathery, GOAT jumpshooting touch.. Lebron simply has no chance against that and against that level of cat-quickness.. Lebron is slow compared to Michael

KAJ was a post player with an almost unblockable shot whereas Dr J was a smaller, slashing wing with an incosistent shot. This is no precedent for two wings where one is bigger, but in most cases prefers a "smaller" game. You take one instance with clearcut big and small games fir each player and act like it's obvious for any other matchup. All while the gap in height between Jordan and Lebron is way smaller.
Barkley would most likely win against Dr J too. In a winner's ball setting being really good to great on the post is more important than anything. It's just that on average the taller and bigger guys are better in the post.
I wouldn't dare to predict who'd win a 1v1 between Jordan and Lebron. Do you think Shaq would always win a 1v1 vs Hakeem? That's about the size advantage Lebron has on Jordan.

It depends on what rules they would have in the 1 on 1 game.
Does the player who scores get the ball again or not? 3 pointers or not?
If it's like regular basketball in 1 on 1 form, where the defender gets the ball after the opponent scores and there are 3 pointers too, then LeBron would beat Shaq.
jordon on the other hand didn't have any type of 3 point shot that Russell Westbrick doesn't have, so it wouldn't make much of an advantage for him.
