Well, Russ is a goner. Looks like Indiana deal is the best for depth purposes. Adds Turner at C and Hield at SG, AD at pf, LeBron doing some point & some SF. I don't know if Bev is going to start, but he probably would with Nunn off the bench.

They would have the same problem as the 2019-20 team, i.e. no legit third scoring option, but that team won a championship, so...
And a healthy Hield or Nunn are probably better #3 scoring options than Kuzma was in 2020 anyway.

They picked up Stanley Johnson off the street after Masai kicked him off the Raptors and told him he was bad at basketball, so the Lakers really didn't lose anything there.

It's basically a straight up trade, THT for Pat Bev. Johnson just makes the salaries match.

Considering where both teams are, I think both sides are going to feel good about the trade.

Signing THT is a statement that the jazz are not gonna build a team around Mitchell. It should be a full fire sale at this point. If jazz are bombing they need to sell Donovan, clarkson, Conley and bogdan at discount prices.
